This is the same number that called me 2 years ago on my job and left a message that it was n important legal matter and now they are calling my new employment with the same mess! My paid attoney does not contact me like this someone find out who these guys are we need to hire them!

Caller called my work and said if I didn't pay them money on a loan that they would come to my home or work to arrest me

This person states I owe money and if I don't pay I will be in jail within 24 hours if I don't pay.  Then tells me to get lost and hangs up on me when I state I want to speak to someone who speaks English.

They called me and stated I will be arrested tomorrow morning.

I got call from this number three times today. Stated his name was Andy with some law firm at which point I told him " oh you are the guy that calls at all hours of the day including at 630am on Sat, which is against the law." I then told him flat out in a loud voice that before he continued I was going to inform him that I was recording the call and the recording and his name and number were being sent to the US DIstrict Attorneys office for investigation and to the local authorities. "Andy " then quickly said " oh ok thank you bye and hung up"
I called back and they just would pick up and hang up the line. I have reported them to the FTC, local authorities and to the federal authorities. They have been trying to get a case built on this guy and the people he works for.

These people have used my cell number and information to extort money from me. When I asked for more information they became aggressive and forceful claiming I would go to jail, I had

I called them back.  They answered "Law Firm."  I asked which law firm?  Heavily accented  man replied, "Davenport Law."  Now,  Davenport Law is a legitimate outfit in Dallas who I have done business with in the past.    When I kept asking questions he called me a "son of a b*****" and hung up.

These people called my work yesterday said if i don't pay $856.21 by 6pm that day for a payday loan  i'm going to be arrested tomorrow at 11am at my job. I had to put the money on to two different  prepaided cards. All the people had american names but thick accents. They have all my info everything. Now i  know payday loans even if you forget and pay they don't go that high with fees. Plus the most they do is send you to collections. So when i didn't pay and 6pm came around. they called me 11 times in less then 5 Minutes. Then what's  funny 911 called me 3 times. Now i'm not no cop i don't think 911 will call anybody at there home. the only time 911 ever called me is when i was a young boy i called it by mistake and hung up they called back and asking  me if everyhting is ok.. So today at 11am i'm going to be outside my work waiting for them to show up. and most likely at 11;05 am i'm going back to work :).

Same thing here. They called all day. I called the police. The police were present when they called. Officer spoke to him and asked him to not call again. He said he did not like the officer's bad attitude. Please let everyone know that this is a scam and they need to keep a whistle handy so when they call blow the whistle into the phone. Not much authorities can do about this issue.

Got call from heavily-accented Indian fellow saying he was with Davenport Law Group and that a lawsuit had been placed against me. Never heard of them.

Have received many calls from these Indian morons. At first I got upset ,but now i answer when I recognize the number. I then pretend to be hard of hearing after I let him speak for 30 seconds and keep saying" hello"? He then starts over again until I say "Hello?" again. After 3 times he hung up. Im loving this. What a***oles!

How do u get these people to go away they keeps calling me a million times , they called me before Christmas demanding money and now they are back to the same thing another number they us is 2146130845

This is not the Davenport Law in Dallas.  I spoke with the real Davenport Law today and they confirmed that it is not them.  After speaking with Davenport Law I contacted the FTC to make them aware of this scam.  Apparently the FBI has a reward out for tracking these people down.  The real Davenport Law encouraged me to contact the FTC.  They are trying to stop this as well.

It is a crime to misrepresent yourself as a member of law enforcement.  it is also a crime to extort money.  You can call your local Police department or FBI office.  These numbers seem to track back to google so you can also send a report to uslawenforcement@google.com

Scam!! They are saying I took out a loan (which I never did) and keep calling and harrassing me saying that I am going to get arrested if I do not pay. They Even cussed me out and said they hope i get arrested! !

Got a call this morning from a man with accent. Stated I would be arrested tomorrow and they have continued to call all day long. I am blocking this number with my cell phone carrier

Not to my surprise that this was a scam, when the caller talked about arresting me and other nonsense. So I contacted my local authorities and lawyer to file a complaint and they will try to prosecute these guys thanks to all of you. What my authorities told me was if they had enough evidence of harassment or if I had any personal loss, it gives them enough to go after these guys. I recommend that everyone contact there local authorities and file a complaint. The more this happens the easier it is to stop these guys.

They did the same thing called 5 times saying I was going to jail for a payday loan. He said his name was Troy ( yeah right). Gave me the same thing Davenport Law firm in Dallas. I cussed him out called the cops and filed a FTC report and a BBB complaint. Probably won't help but these people need to stop!!!

Have received several calls from this number, most of which I ignored up until yesterday.  When I called the number back the person (with a very thick accent) said he was John Smith with the State Investigation Office.  before he got any further I told him I knew what he was going to say already and to stop calling my number, that I was going to call the local Sheriff's office and give them the number to call him back.  Two seconds later he called back again and I asked him with someone who has such an American name why couldn't he understand English, and again told him to quit calling my number.  Found out he contacted my Human Resources Dept. yesterday and was very rude with them.  These people are idiots!  Do not pay them anything. They want money on a payday loan that I have never taken out!

It's a scam, ignore them.

Some guy with a thick accent tried to tell me that there is a complaint filed against me for unlawful email and internet extortion and wanted me to pay a fine or else I would be arrested. I asked him to give me his physical address so I could file a cross complaint against him and he gave me some bogus address from Dallas, Tx.  This f****r needs to be shot in the head like the rest of the scammers.

The reason this number can't be traced is because it is a number from such web sites as google talk or skype etc. they are not a legal company. They told me they were from a law office called Davenport law firm in Dallas Texas. The number isn't even a Texas area code number. They are losers. Next time someone tells you they're from a law firm ask them fir their license number associates with the USA, ask them for their address and any contact information. ask for an email address too. If you email them and they email you back, you can atleast get their ip address because it will be in their email and their ip address can be traced by any type of law office in the USA. Any law firm or collection office is required to notify you of any collections by mail if you request it.  These people are scum and they deserve to be shot. You can also tell them the name of your law office is Hatee Shataan. see how they react then.

They called 3 times in 5 minutes, then left a message for me to call on a very important, time sensive matter, called back and they wanted my attrny's info. Told them I had already looked this number up, and that they were a big scam, and if they called me or my place of employment, I would be pulling their throat out. They hung up so I tried calling them back 7 times and every time I called the line was busy. I am really tired of this, I have filed a complaint with the FCC, to no avail. Why can't this number be traced and the people arristed? What's the problem, in my mind it's a just do it!

Let these idiots call me again saying they were taking me to jail FAT CHANCE i dont think so!!!! give them a good cussing tell them to go to he..... and so i called them 20 or 30 times in a row til they blocked my number for good lol it was great and took alot of my frustrations out and all they could do is cuss me and hang up,,,so i got on another phone and called 20 or 30 more times till they were so pissed they called me a motherf%#er and asked me to quit calling lol,,,so i got a friends phone and did it again to to funny,,,teach those idiots....just keep calling them they will leave you alone.........

Received a message to call Mike Rogers from this number or have my attorney call.  Time sensitive matter, do not ignore or wish me good luck if I don't call back as this unfolds about me.  I have no clue who it is or what they want.

yes ive been getting the same kind of phone calls and these people need to be stopped but how??
