Same caller with no real message. Called from (972) 818-4079. 4th call - persistent.

Yeah he called me to wanting me to attend a seminar to sell my business.  NO, is spelled how many different ways?  N - O

Al Hartwell called our company and asked for the owner by name, explained he had "PERTINENT" information that would be useful to the company.

I also go this message, but with Bruce Hinkley instead of Al Hartwell.

I'm a receptionist at my co.  Got the SAME  phone call just now and the man asked for our owner name by his first name.

"Good afternoon. This is Al Hartwell. I was attempting to reach ___"
"...reason I'm calling - we simply have some pertinent information with respect to the business and based upon the activities that we are seeing, we do feel that it may prove to be positive with respect to your company number is 972-481-2851 and again, that name is Al Hartwell."  Yes, he spelled the name "Al" too.  He did not volunteer company name: I had to ask (He said co name is 'Generational').  I was suspicious and conducted an on-line search and that how I found this forum.

Just got a call from this person too.  Googled the name and number to see if anything came up.  Thanks for all the comments.

Got the same exact message today, 9-14-10 from Al Hartwell.

Was asked by Al to leave a message for my boss that went something like this:

"Hi. Good afternoon. This is Al Hartwell. I was attempting to reach [name of your boss]. If you would, [XYZ], give me a call. My number is 972-481-2851. Again that name is Al Hartwell, phone number is 972-481-2851. Now, the reason I'm calling today, is we have some pertinent information with respect to the business and based upon the activities that we are seeing, we do feel that it may prove to be positive with respect to your company??

Would only tell me his business was called ?Generational?.

Insert my bosses name and I received an identical message this morning.   Now I know this is suspicious.

Sorry, Caller is not Phillips Hosiery but Generation Wealth.

We don't want to receive this call any way.

I got the exact same message requesting for our CEO to call- good thing this website exists!

If you would, Jason,  give me a call and I can provide you with the detail. That number is 972-481-2851 and again, that name is Al Hartwell."  All this was left on my voice mail.  I am the admin.  He never asked for me to pass the message on.  He repeatedly spoke as if he was leaving this on Jason's voice mail.  These people have been calling since May 2008!  I will they would go away!

Bruce Hinkley called to try to get to the 'principal' of the company.  He refused to give me any company information - told me he was with 'GWE' & fed me some line about confidentiality and he won't be sorry, yadda, yadda and ended the conversation abruptly basically demanding Jason call him, he wouldn't be sorry.  He was very rude and purposely withheld info.

What these people don't get is I'm the gate keeper and you don't get past me without being able to validate yourself - and without being RUDE!

I too received this message verbatim today 09-30-09 on my answering machine.  I guess I'm not passing it along either.  Sounds like someone has already figured this thing out.

Received voice mail message identical to that reported by e on 30 Mar 2009. I would have ignored it anyway, but it's good to find this information.

got the same message today plus got another call from a mike lewis from the same company the other day.

delete it.

My CFO received the same message as "E" indicated on 3.30.09. This Al chap is not good.

Same call. I thought it was odd he spelled Al, too. I will not be passing this along to our CEO!

Al Hartwell just called and asked to speak to the CEO by name, blah blah...etc. Glad I was able to find this message board.
