rude rude rude! 972-481-2954; earlier this month. Joy Carter with an attitude like she would share no information with anyone but the owner. I'm the owners wife. Hello!!  Customer service has disappeared. Message in file 13. Not a pleasing impression.

got a call from Joan Carter about an 'important inquiry that came into her office' about my company.

Anybody ever find out what's the reason of this call? We just received a call from her.

Got the same cryptic and misleading voice message from Joy Carter.  Said she might have business with my company, inferring that she might be or want to be a customer, thus leaving one in the position of needing to call back since no one wants to offend a client or miss a possible new client.  That's a slimeball way to do business Joy Carter and I wouldn't use your company if it was the last M&A firm on earth.

Received a call from Joy Carter wanting to speak to ___ (one of the owners).  When I told her that he wasn't in, she wanted to know when to call back.  Since he won't be in until Monday, she wanted an email address to send him the important information she has for him.  Please be aware that they are now wanting email addresses to bother people another way.

My caller was Pam Green from "the leading mergers and acqusitions firm". Thanks for your help!!  Now I know I can get rid of her for the boss.....

Same thing. Message had her phone number and name-Joy Carter - no value proposition or anything. Checked reverse listing: Generational Equities. Rec'd voice mail the same day from a guy who identified himself as being with the same company and left a different number in Dallas.

I got the same thing, sounds like a cold caller to get people to list their business for sale.

Thank you for your website.  This morning we got a voicemail from the same number and same woman.  Needless-to-say, we won't be calling her back.  Just glad we didn't get her live--can't tolerate rude people.  Thanks again for having this website available.

I spoke with her. It's a legitimate Mergers & Acquisition company. They probably don't want to alarm employees that the company could possibly be sold.

I got a call from theis number and the woman was extremely rude and nasty.  Same thing as everyone else, she wouldn't say anything except that she needed to speak with the owner and it was a confidential matter.  Such a sham!

I got the same cryptic voicemail from Joy Carter saying 'she has business in Vancouver' and needs to speak with me.  She'll get no call back from me.  Thanks all for info in this post.

Just a follow up for my last post.  I called Generational Equity Headquarters to complain about the rude phone call I had received.  I was connected to an answering service and I left a message. I didn't think anything would come of it but it made me feel better. To my surprise I received a call from a very nice woman, Olivia Maxwell who apologized about the way I was treated and said it would be taken care of.  The apology and return call was very much appreciated!

I just got call from the rudest woman I have ever delt with in my 8 years here at this company.  She asked for owner, I gave her number of main office and asked she remove this number from call list you would have thought I asked her to remove her arm!  Called main office and gave heads up about she will be calling and how I was treated.....nice way to earn business!!!!!!

Joy Carter left vmail. We receive cold calls from a number of similar outfits from time to time--M&A specialists for mid-market companies. I presume they're trolling for business and would be happy to take our money in the service of trying to find a buyer for our company. Don't know whether it's legit or a scam.

Joy Carter also called our business and was very allusive as to the reason of the call. Not a good sign

Got a call from Joy Carter, asking for the owner of the business.  When she was put into voice mail, she hung up and called right back.  As soon as I answered the phone, she said, "What, is he not in?!"  I asked her if her attitude was necessary, which only ticked her off more.  She hung up on me.

Gotta love it!
