Keeps calling for an unknown person to me and says if you are this person then keep listening if you aren't this person don't listen ...as if that isn't human nature. It's one of those bottom feeder bill collectors.

These people are a joke and a scam... they tell me they can't release any information but are trying to collect from my 85 year old grandmother who hasn't been out of the house in a month, let alone, cosigned for or done anything to make her financially obligated to pay any debt that is for someone by the name of C. FORD... I have tried to explain to these people they have the wrong number (we have no one with the last name FORD in our family & have NEVER OWNED OR PURCHASED A FORD VEHICLE...EVER!!!). I've offered to send them a copy of a phone bill to prove they are calling the wrong person, asked them to send me something in writing to show my 85 year old grandmother what they're talking about & nothing has happened yet but more calls.  On the last phone call to them, I told them to sue us and we'd see them in court because as per FCRA, you can't collect a debt for someone who isn't legally obligated, you can't put that on someone else's credit who isn't associated with & at this point, what they're actually doing is harassing her & we may have legal recourse for their actions... Now I get a paralegal who can talk to me like she has sense... Said she'll look into it and have someone call me back directly because she realizes this could be a costly mistake on their part.

When I Google this number it comes up as Kris Balakian, the Law Offices in Dallas Texas. However on the phone they call themselves JDStewart law offices, in Georgia.  Looks like a scam, called them they won't talk to me because they called for my husbands name.  They say it's about a legal issue, but all legal issues have to be handled with a written letter first. It's a scam I'm blocking them.

I received a call & voice mail message from (972) 498-1930. It was a recorded message asking for Aldon Smith. It says it's from Balekian The Law Office trying to collect a debt & to return the call to take care of an important business matter. I am not Aldon Smith, so I'll be ignoring the message. It was just a very strange recorded message.

They call me over and over and over...I finally answered the call today and then kept getting a recording to hang on - someone would be with me shortly - over and over!  I know what this is about!  Two years ago I was in the ER for 11 hours following a car accident.  At the very end of my 'stay' the doctor changed.  For about half an hour Dr. X 'cared' for me.  He gave me incorrect information about who to call the next day.  His bill was sent separately from the other hospital bills.  His bill was for just over $1,000.  My insurance adjusted the amount and paid him well over $800 and he billed me for $82.  For half an hour!  I have ignored the bill just for the principle of it!  It has been given to a number of collection agencies and once I was offered a chance to pay it in full for $39.  Now it's back up to the $82.  I'm sure this call is about this bill.  I'm sorry but I'm getting a sick pleasure out of this!  My hospital bill was over $35,000 for the ER...11 hours.  This is crazy.
