I received a call from Wanda telling me to call her at 855-464-7148 ext. 8502. Telling me to call her, she left a message on my job and on my cell phone. She was nice and I could understand her. SCAM.

I just got called from that number and I'm little so they need to stop

I got a message from 855-464-7148 ext 8509. Stated she was Julie. I have no idea who she is and what she wants. . Called keep coming.

This number called me today and some woman left me a voicemail saying I HAD to call back by 5pm, the voicemail JUST showed up almost 5hrs later....saying she'd be willing to work with me and IF I didn't call back, she'd be forced to take legal action. I tried calling the number back just to see what place was calling, and my phone said 'international calling is prohibited'. So should I call back tomorrow or leave it alone? I'm very confused because the woman had a thick Jamaican accent and DIDN'T say WHAT company she was calling for/from.

They keep calling asking for my father. I have no idea who they are. I don't keep in contact with my father. I figured it was a debt collecting type company. He borrows money from these places, then puts my number down and they call me. I don't keep in contact with him and live across the country from him!

called at work leaving a message with my boss, said he had a complaint against me and was really rude!  Has not called my phone but called my work place,which is not cool

I have a loan with security finance. ive been getting calls from the 855 number. I don't have a job. my payments are 25/monrh. in November I sent them a check for 115.00 because I knew this would be last time I could pay for awhile. I thought that since I do 25/ month that when I sent them a check for 115 I would be ok with them for awhile. still getting phone calls, still no job. was I wrong to think that the 115 would make them happy for awhile?

Phone number 855-464-7148 called me and said someone used me for a "reference"? They started asking me information about someone I don't know?? I told them not to call my number anymore and they just continued asking me questions in a very rude manner... JERKS!!! I just hung up.

Actually, according to the law, they cannot threaten to take you to court, they can only attempt to collect a debt and they can file charges to sue you, but they cannot verbally threaten you.  Make sure to write down each contact with them and EXACTLY what they said so that if they take you to court... you can counter sue for harrassment and usually the debt is dropped.  They also can be made to pay your legal fees.  I am currently writing a book about all this... if you would like more information about my book, email me at AmericanKountry@msn.com.  Good luck!

Ive been getting calls from a man with the number showing up 9724367638 with msg to call back today but for some reason the voicemail cuts off the first part of the return call number. He leaves exts. 8502 and 8503. Also getting calls from the 8554647148 with ext 8506 given on vm from a Ms.Williams butshe is not answering and just getting her vm. Several weeks ago i received a call from a man named Alex somerthing with a middle eastern accent sayin he was w attorneys office threating jail and criminal charges for an unpaid loan ( i dont have one that i am aware of) he called my work and left the msg with my boss. the week before i started recieving these calls i stupidly filled out for several online loans. thinking this is the cause and praying it is a scam.it seems to be

The name that comes up on the caller ID is Javier Martinez. Javier does not answer any texts :)
They recorded message says to call 855-464-7148 ext. 8502 or 8503. No answer though. What's up with that?

I never answer unrecognizable numbers cus I dont recognize them and I recently got a call from one that left me a voicemail so I went ahead and listened to it and its a male voice telling me he needs to talk to my urgently and tells me to call him back TODAY. Then says to call him on this number (but on my caller id it showed up as (972) 436-7638 ) They guy never said why I needed to call him back or who he was working for. So I refuse to call them back. Anybody know who this number is and why they are calling me?

Keeps calling my phone looking for my daughter who is 9 states away, I have asked them to stop calling me, but then they get rude.

Yes my girlfriend just got a call from this number from a man named Donovan  and it is a total scam cause she has no debt at all everything we have is in my name she has not even one penny of debt!!!!!!!

No they cannot threaten unless they are really going to serve  you papers.  This is a debt collection company for Security Finance corporation who writes high risk loans at high interest rates.

This is a total scam.  Of course they are willing to work with you if you give them money.  A legitimate collection agency would contact you more likely by mail. Even then you must verify who they are and the exact amount you actually owe.  

SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Close any accounts you may have inadvertently given them access to: checking, credit cards, etc.  They can wipe out every penny you have and kill what credit you may have as well.


Run don't walk to your phone, bank etc.  STOP these thieves.

Just received a call from "donavan".  Yes I owe the money, no I dont have any money.  He said he would take $50 a month payments for 3 months and settle the debt.  (I owe $525.00).  He was reasonable and willing to work with me.  We had a bad accident several years ago and have not recovered so our finances are bad right now.  He said he understood and could tell I had taken out several loans with Security Financial and had always paid them back on time.  They will work with you IF you will try to work with them.

Keep calling saying they are from security finance to collect debt. Threaten you with criminal charges for failure to pay. Can they do that?

They also call from 927-436-7580, debt collectors for an  ex-employe.
