Six phone calls all in a row from this nimber.  I could not block them fast enough.  Seriously, it really seemed ttto irritate them, so they kept calling back.  I have nothing to do with Countrywide or home loans but these people are wack jobs with a vendetta.  Take a hint!  If I block your call, don't call me five more times in the space of two minutes.

just received a call from this number.  i answered and they hung up.

I own a locksmith company and they called from this number at 9:40 P.M. on a Friday saying that they're from some service company and they need a call back immediately to a different 972 number. On the  message, she asked if i could send an invoice. At the end of the message, she added that they had a homeowner locked out of their home.

Got a call from this number. She said she was with the president of B of A and she was calling about our loan.  Which loan (we have 80 20 split mortgage, 1 vehicle loan, and an RV loan)?? Um, the mortgage, I guess! was the answer.  Asked for us to fax all kinds of personal info that NACA has already sent them for the workout in progress.  I called B of A right back and they said no has accessed my account on their end at all today.  STRANGE, VERY STRANGE!

I got a call from this number on 10/28/09 and they said they were calling from Bank of America CEO's Office in Texas, regarding a letter of complaint I sent to two senators about not working with me to save my home.  She said she would get back to me, their computers were down.  Never heard back.

I just got the call and it is Bank of America Mortgage.  I am doing a refp and they were talking to me about it.

This number belongs to Countrywide, who is now Bank of America. Either you have a loan with them, or they're just looking to get more business. You may have filled out an entry form to win a trip, or car, at your local mall, etc. Read the fine print. By entering these contests you are allowing certain companies to contact you regarding products or services they offer. It's not that big of a deal. Nest time you see 972-526-0000 just answer the phone. Tell them to take you off of their list.

Just got a call from this #. I do have a mortgage w/Countrywide (now Bank of America). Message said that I had submitted an inquiry to refinance my loan. I have done no such thing. I hate these kinds of tactics.

Got a second call from this number saying exaclty this, "Good afternoon, this is Jane Lewis calling, uh, from Bank of America home loans.  I'm calling regarding your recent refinance inquiry to our website. Please call us back at your earliest convenience.  The phone number is 1-800-586-3988.  Thank you and have a great day."  Is this fake?  I never inquired regarding this.  Did a search of the number...no hit for B of A.

I had gone on line to submit for information from Countrywide on refinancing this morning (9:30 a.m.)and had indicated not to call before 7:00 p.m.  It wasn't even 2 minutes after hitting the submit button that I received a call from the above number.  A message was left asking me to call an 800 number for information.  The person leaving the message sounded like a call center.

Why would I call back if they don't even look at when they should call.

may be countrywide...I am having them investigated by OFIR (office of insurance and regulations) in Michigan regarding fraudulent lending.  Currently our mortgage company in a crappy ARM loan with them.

My wife got a call from this number.  They asked for me and she said I was out and they said to call back "Countrywide"... I knew the number (not)... I have an application with them that I gave to someone the day before... he told me to watch out of call like this... OH, well if they want me call me... leave a good number so I can call back.

This IS Countrywide and they are not upfront about who they are and what they want.  Very unprofessional and deceiving about their business practices.  I wouldn't trust them.
