this person is calling me at work , about a felony debt and leaving a meesage on my phone . every one in my department can listen too the voice mail on it. I don't no what the debt can be. he say's a check.

Received a call from a Michael Tilmey (not sure if spelling is correct) stating they had a civil complaint from a check that was bad in 2006. They were attempting to "Forbear service and process"...the thing that bothered me a bit is there is an actual Civil Case in that county against me that was "dismissed-restitution paid" in 2006, so why is this Federal Recoveries office calling me now, 5 years later in regards to that case? I don't like taking any chances with garnishments and all that crap so not sure what to do in this matter!

This number is calling me and I am the only resident at this address.  I do not want them calling me or harassing me ever again.  DO NOT CALL MY NUMBER EVER AGAIN!

SCAM

Rec'd a call from Mr tilmey stating that a civil suit suit is conducted against me from 2007 reported by bank of america regarding a loan from cash net usa.  I did not write a check to cash net usa for a $1000.00 and I do not owe bank of america $1000.  stating the statue of limitations is still in affect and he called out all the  people I knew and stated he is going to contact them and also send documentation to my employer...calls have be on going

I received a call from this number 972-535-6816 and they claimed they were the Lee County Federal States office (I live in Florida, they're in Texas), and that I owed $1,512 to CashNetUSA. If I didn't pay I would be arrested. After a little research, I discovered that it was a SCAM. I called them and asked for an address and was passed around to three different people.  Finally, I threatened them with a law suit, and his response was "you're not going to do anything little girl" then he hung up!  I didn't find this out until I had already paid them $118.

I just wanted to add that the day after I received the first phone call,  MR. STAMP , provided number 8773382151 ext. 303 for a return contact number and he has started calling my family members. He says he is following up on complaints and would like to speak to my legal counsel or me before he takes us to court. BEWARE of this SCAM!!

That just happened today and we live in FLa. That is insane because I thought it was serious. I am so glad that I read this post. Mr. staff I believe is his name but he said the same exact thing, Federal Recovery Act and someone was using my S.S, D.L # and banking info. and I needed to call back to resolve the issue. phone number was 9725356816, out of Plano, TX. What a crock!!! Scary what collectors can find out about and threaten you with. ;-(

My nuber listed w/do not call. You have just broken the law and will be reported/ My number is unlisted be cause of a violent commited. I will call the police and report you.I am a widow and do not need this extra grief. If I have to seek legeal redress, I will.

I have this number listed with do not call. If called again I will report ot the Federal Authorities.

Please do not call my number again, as it is registered with the "Telemarketers or Anybody Not Given This Number Do Not Call" Line.  If you call me again, I will take legal action.

Threats of legal action based on unauthorized bank drafts. They try to scare you into paying debts. They drafted my bank account with a name I didn't recognize so I made a stop payment. They said it was a hot check. Typical aggressive bill collectors, but actually a nice guy willing to work with you.

Caller said he was with the "Federal Recovery Act" and was inquiring into a e-mail address fraud.  I asked if he was representing a federal law enforcement agency or federal government agency. He replied that he "worked with" federal agencys. At that point I told the caller not to call me again and I said "you got that? He said, "no I don't got that, F- you" and he hung up.  Before he called, my ex called and informed me that this person called her, told her that he was investigating "Lawyer Fraud" (what in the world is that?) Found out after talking to a family member that they sent a pay-off total for a car loan to WELLS FARGO 6 weeks ago, WELLS FARGO processed the check then sent the loan to a collection agency called "UAR" for non-payment.  The number that called me was 972-535-6816
