I receive at least 5 to 6 calls per day from this number also.  Normally, I either don't answer or I'll hang up as soon as I answer.  I finally answered just to see who was calling me at all hours, including the 9:00pm call tonight.  The man was from the State Troopers Association of Texas or something of that sort.

received 4 to five calls each day 1-22-08 & 1-24-08.caller I.D. shows PSOTX 972-546-1544. I answered and a man thanked me for danating ten dollars back in 1999 and asked for a current donation of forty dollers,which goes to supporting family of fallen police officers. when i asked where they were out of ,he said  'I THINK AUSTIN TEXAS '. he did not know if there was an e-mail address nor could he tell what percentage of the money goes to this cause.he also said i must send my donation off the same day i receive the letter. i aggreeded to ten dollars but he says i have tsend minimum of $12.00. i do not believe this to be a legitimate orgination and will not donate!

we recieve 7 or 9 calls each week from these people.  And we don't appricate this happening and would like to have them to stop call.

I keep getting calls from this number.  They do not leave a message.

I would like to know who they are and why they are calling me.

For the last several weeks, we have been getting 3-4 calls per day from this #. We never answer and they never leave a message. Is there some way to block calls coming from a particular phone #?

I receive about 4 calls a day from this number. They dont leave msgs, and they hang up on me when i answer... it really is ridiculous. And I hope they get caught, cuz its annoying the "you know what" out of me.

Just received recently, hope it doesn't become a nuisance like its been w/these people.  Have given to State Troopers in past, don't believe that they would harrass people.

I have given to this orignation several times over the years, but when you can no longer afford such things they want take no for an answer, I just don't answer their call. It says it is an orignization for the state troopers assc. of Texas, to support widows and their children. I have ask them to stop calling me but like others I still receive 3 to 5 calls a day from as early as 8am to as late as 9:30pm. I to would like to know how to stop their calls. As presistant as they are my guess they are paid per collections they receive. would guess less than 10 cents on the doller goes to the family of fallen officers.......

Be very careful of this one. This is a scam. All of the moneies they collect doesn't go to what they say. If they are collecting for who they say then 100% should go for who they are collecting. If you want to give to a police or fire organization, give to your local people. That way 100 % goes to the local people.

I keep getting calls from this number too. I finally answered/ They collect funds for Texas police officers. To help officers who have died in line of duty. I hope this helps

Same thing caller id all day long

I receive calls from this number (972-546-1544) up to 4x per day as well.  My caller ID list them as PSOTX.  Not sure who they are.  If I answer, no one talks, and if my machine picks up (beep). I get to come home to my machine beeping that I have msgs., at least 4 or 5 hangups.  YAY!!

They call my home phone, which is on the "No Call" list at least once a day.

They've called my house in the morning (back-to-back calls) and in the evening (also back-to-back calls).  I didn't answer since this is the 3rd day in a row they call and don't leave a message.  Comes up as "Texas Call".

I got a call at 1801 tonight from 972-546-1544, which came up as Texas Caller. Thsi usually indicates that the call is from a cell phone. Since i did not recognize the area code, I did not answer it; and they did not leave a message.

l get aloy of calls from private caller and unknown caller;three to five times a day. nobody ther.

I receive a call from this number (972-546-1544) four times a day, twice in the morning (back-to-back) and twice in the afternoon (back-to-back).  I get it on my personal work phone number (unlisted).  I usually just hang up, but when I stay on the line and listen, nobody talks or responds.  When I hang up, it calls right back and still nobody on the line.

Just received call. I refused to answer it. No message left.

They are just trying to get money out of you and get personal information. they are collecting for themselves. You can call 512-424-5588 and get more information on this scam.

Called the number back and heard a message that this is the Fund Raising Information Center calling on behave of a public safety association.

Have called several times at different time of the day.  no message left.
