They have left two voice messages.  Both times the person asked my wife (didn't quite get the name right) to call "Miss James" at (800) 466-1505.  They did not say what company "Miss James" represents, nor did they make any mention of what the call was regarding.

A few months ago we got very similar--though more threatening--calls from (800) 440-2295.  These people just want to intimidate you into sending them money so they will stop calling.

I received a call from this number earlier today. They asked to speak to a lady who may or may not have formerly used my number. I explained that this was "no longer her number" and the caller continued to probe. I explained that I had no idea who the person was that she was asking for. She asked if I was a relative. I re-iterated that I had "no clue who she was." She asked "Is this 336-___-____?" As my phone is typically only used for internal work calls on the site, I do not typically hand the number out so I responded, "I believe so." The caller said, "You don't know your own number sir?"

I got a call from them today asking to contact my sister in law who lives in another state and I have had contact with the bi*** in 5 years.

called many times, but only left a message this last time and said they were a law office and I should call them at their 1- 800 #

they called me from another Phone Number and when they asked me for the last four of my social.  I asked them where they were calling from.  They told my Georgia, but the number came from a Texas area code. When I asked them why that is, they tried to change the subject back to getting my information.  I told them to tell me what they had.  They had it, almost.

I got the same thing.  I really wish these calls would stop.

Saying that they were a law office trying to collect a debt from my credit card company.

They called and asked to speak with an employee who no longer works here.

I got this call today and when I answered,I got a recording that said, "Thank you for calling, someone will be with you shortly......"  then I hung up. I dont know who these people are, but I am getting frustrated with the wierd long distance calls.
