Get these cause of the "free" water test kit at Home Depot.

Talked to Home Depot and they swear up and down they have never heard of this occurring or have had any complaints. They said the store I got it from hadn't heard anything as well. This tells me there might be some insider dealing between this company and Home Depot going on.

Basically answer and asked to be removed ASAP. File a complaint with the FTC and FCC.

Oh gawd - it must be that crap from Home Depot!  They promised not to call!

I filled out the same thing at Home Depot and am now getting calls from this number and others with the same issues mentioned here.   Great job Home Depot earning my trust.

The company is Rain Soft and they are getting your number from a survey you fill out at Home Depot.  I found their web page and called their listed business number 972-647-4700 and asked them to stop calling me. If they do not so what they said... They will have to change their main number.

If I'm ever approached by someone at Home Depot again they are going to get an ear full...

Yup, darn survey people from Home Depot got me too. Surprisingly very quickly, I only filled out the survey on Sunday, today is Tuesday.
I specifically asked before I took it if my phone number would be used for any other purposes and was assured that it wouldn't.........

I received a call yesterday from 972-647-4740 and I did not answer since I didn't recognize the number.  This all makes sense, though, since I was approached by some lady at The Home Depot in Allen about some sort of survey.  Next time they call, I'm going to answer and request that they remove me from their list and report them to State Attorney General's office if they don't.

Ok..So I did  QUICK SURVEY AT HOME DEPOT..AND LO AND BEHOLD..NOTHING BUT TELEMARKETING CALLS TO HAVE MY WATER CHECKED.  WHAT A PAIN IN THE BUTTTT THEY ARE.  USING SAME PHONE NUMBER AND CHANGING LAST TWO DIGITS.

I sent in a water sample from a kit I got at Home Depot and they were calling to set up an appointment to go over my water sample.   I will come back and let you know what the results are.....I am scheduled for tomorrow.  10-12-2012

I think I know where this came from. I filled out a survey in Home Depot last week. There were questions about my water quality.  I have had multiple calls since.

Thanks Home Depot!  (This is who I am blaming.)

Home Depot did the same thing - asked me to complete a survey while I was in the store and told me I would be put in a drawing to win $100 home depot gift card.  Then, they started calling...boo hiss - total bait and switch - not happy.

This is from the survey you may have taken at Home Depot. They asked a bunch of questions and told my wife she was put in the drawing to win a 100.00 HD gift card.

I did the Home Depot survey about water use in my home, and now they are calling me too! I googled it and the company is called RainSoft, aka Enviro Tech. I just emailed them to take me off their call list: info@rainsoftofdfw.com. Hope it works!

After reading the above, I realized I too had filled out a water survey form from home depot several days before getting these calls. I should report this to Home Depot and tell them I'm going to be taking my business to Lowe's.

I am having the same problem.  Calls up to 4 times a day.  I also signed up for something at home depot (first time ever) and now I'm extremely frustrated.

If you signed up for anything from Home Depot or Lowe's from people they have walking around saying they're doing a water survey.  I said yes to the survey but now I'm on this call list for ever.

GOt a call from this number around  845 pm and they did not leave a Vm...

This company calls under the name "Envirotech" wanting to schedule an in-home water sample analysis.  It is a total scam.  They even mail out water sample tubes in the mail and say it is for routine city water testing.  Once they receive your water sample and contact information, they contact you for an 'in-home' water analysis.  SCAM!

Called last night at 8:00 a.m.  Don't know how they are getting my phone numbers - I am on the national do not call registry for all of my phone numbers.  Just switched to Vonage at the beginning of November and I am being bombarded with unwanted sales calls.

Just happened to me yesterday. basically same as angie
called me on tuesday saying they are from Home depot, and we have won $500 HD coupon/2 night vac being paid for.  we believed because just last week we played the 'raffle' thing at HD and filled in our info.  the woman said we won the raffle and also including a 'free' water test.  i don't know why but they insisted that my wife will be at home with me for the test.  the guy came and half way, we knew this was all BS and know we didn't win anything, just letting a stranger into your house for ~ 2hours.

This number called our house several times.  We never picked up, and they never left a message.  Finally, I was sick of them calling everyday and answered.  It was soliciting a free water treatment analysis, and the girl wanted to schedule an in-home visit and water analysis.  

She got our information from a water sample that we thought we had sent in to the city as a routine water analysis.  However, it turns out, it is a complete SCAM!!! This needs to be reported.

They keep calling my cell phone, with 2 different numbers.  I never answer and they do not leave messages.  Call several times a day.  After reading above post, I am glad I did not answer.

Just got a call from this number.  Just like "anon" said above, they tried to pitch to me a "free" water analysis and give me a "free" vacation.  Nothing is free in this world, so I asked her how they were making money..she responded by reading the same exact thing to me.  It even involved her saying "Have you guys had a chance to settle in?" twice....so she was reading something.  This is a scam I am sure and you would end up paying for the water "treatment".  Call them and tell them to remove you from their list.

Likely Rainsoft/Envirotech water treatment.  They do not leave a message, but will keep calling.  Last two digits may be different as they have several lines.  They want to tell you that you "won" something and then come to your house for a "free" water analysis/sales pitch.
