I got the invisible phone number called to my cell phone this morning, and the guy said he is from Los Angeles police department, and said he had a cellphone with all my number in it. and that cellphone is related to some crime. he had my home phone number, my current cell phone, and my address, and he asked me regarding did u use craigslist or something. and i said yes, i sell the movie ticket on the craigslist. the weird thing is he never leave me a contact information or something like that.  I get so frustrated and i contact the LAPD immediately, and they asked me did he tell u the division  that he is working for? (NO) What kind of crime is it? (NO)did he leave the phone number? (NO)  if you got the phone call again, please contact us immediately  (OK).   This is crazy, man, someone has too much times and play the cell phone!

received call from this number yesterday from a man claiming to be a Officer matthew Rogers with the FBI.. also threatening me with legal action. If you have gotten a pay day loan online this is how he got my information. He has my ss,dob and address.. I called the real FBI and they say they do not handle business like that. I called him back and told him the call was being recorded and he exploped on me and cussed FU to me and said go to jail and hung up.

I received a call from 916-395-0000. I could hardley understand the individual claiming to be Officer Steve Williams from Federal Crime Investigations. There was a very hollo sound in the background and he stated there was some outstanding legal matters under my name and social. Then he told me to reach him at a different number 972-674-3742. His accent was very heavy and sounded like he was reading a script. I don't have any pending legal issues so I know that he is full of it.

I've gotten the same calls off and on for about a year now.  Very annoying especially since they are calling my job.  I am currently on a LOA but I'm still able to access my work voicemail and today I had 4 calls that started last week and last call came in today.  My question is how do you get the calls to stop??  I get so frustrated but I know it is a scam.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was just called by a person from 972 674 3742 with a heavy Indian accent and bad phone reception. He claimed I was facing legal charges and was going to be arrested. I kept asking him what I was being charged with and he placed me on hold, very bad holding circus type music. He first told me his name was Officer Steve Williams with the Federal Office of Investigations, which I did a Google Search for while on the phone and found no such office.I then asked for his badge number which he provided as 52421, I repeatedly kept asking what were the charges and who was I being charged by and he said let me transfer you to my supervisor. The next person sounded like the same person nut said his name was Officer Matthew Rodgers , I asked for his badge number which he gave as 1961,being from a family of law enforcements agents I realized those were not legitimate badge numbers. While I was on hold I used my other phone to call the number and they answer with "who is this" , whenever I have called a government office or business they usually answer with the name of the company. When I said who is this, what am I being charged for he said would you like to settle this case in court or settle it with them over the phone. I again asked what the charges were and he became very angry and said I am sending my officers to arrest you right now and you will go to jail and hung up. I then did a reverse phone number look up on Goggle and found this page with all different people describing the same incident having happened to them. I called LAPD and they advised it is more than likely a scam and don't give them any money, he advised me to put a 90 day hold on my social security number to make sure no one was using it to open accounts. I then also filed a claim on the FBI website for cyber crimes. I then called Officer Rodgers back & told him I had reported the incident and that this call was being recorder . he hung up.
