I began getting annoying text messages from 972-748-7283. It's a number somewhere in Texas. A reverse search on Superpages didnt bring anything up.

The text messages come complete with pictures. They are from a big, fat ugly black woman portraying herself as some kind of religious figure, Queen Ezebephiah. At first, I politely texted her back, asking her to remove me from her call list. She immediately began bombarding me with dozens of "religious" messages per hour.

I explained to her that I am an Orthodox Jew and do not require saving. She got downright bigoted & surly after that, calling me and my people all sorts of horrible names.

I am a doctor who is on call with a local hospital. I get my alerts via text. When I texted her to explain that her non-stop texts were making me miss alerts ahe began texting me several times a minute! The woman is evil - she just doesnt care what her actions are doing to others! No truly religious person, Christian or Jew, would keep up this level of harassment.

One of our hospital's IT guys did some checking and found out that what she's really after are "donations". Pay her (in cash to a PO box) and the texts will stop. This is extortion.

I'm at my wit's end. What can I do?
