I have this guy calling my cell and work and can never get a hold of him. How were you, anyone reading this, able to get them to stop calling?

after reading all of you guy's responses.. i feel SOOO much better! i have been contacted by this recording soooo many times. they have even been callin my mother's house and got her all histerical thinking somthing is going on. i thought i was a victim of identity theft or somthn. how the hell can u serve me papers in texas and i dont even live in that state.  how do you get these calls to stop?

Smart little sissy calling and harassing me over a bill that is not mine. When I tried to explain that this was not mine he hung up in my face. I called back and asked to speak to a superviser and he stated that he was the superviser.
He then stated that I was lecturing him. An argument ensued and I was called a black welfare recipient and a c***.
I have no respect for a company that would employ such a person.

"Ben Haani" calls my unlisted home number and cell phone constantly. Finally I was able to trap the number that this recorded message was coming from. It's the 972 one in Dallas. In Michigan this is now a felony, even if this was a legitimate collection activity. I've saved the dozens of messages and I've referred this rodeo clown bozo to the State of Michigan Attorney General's Office.

I also received several calls with the same recording. How do you get these calls to stop?

The address they give is near Niagara Falls, however in view of their obvious attempts to give a false impression on their website and on calls to their office, one should assume this is just another Buffalo, NY slimy debt collector, doing the typical consumer rip off and scam.

There is nothing we found about this organization that comes close to legitimate.

These idiots keep calling me every day asking for the wrong person. When called back they wouldn't listen to me, but kept saying to me " shut up"?? Is this a horrible dream?

Yep same thing they called me and said they needed to serve me papers for a bad check as well. Too bad for them I don't write checks, and this happened to me last year as well. Don't fall for it, it's a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't waste your time calling back - all these people are doing are making illegal threats! When I recieved the message I called the number back that they left which was to abbott Newman and associates. The woman had my ss# mixed up, the wrong address and told me she was calling regarding a loan with some company I never heard of telling me that I had money deposited into my account two years ago. Well I checked my bank records and there was NO SUCH transaction. I think these people make things up as they go! If you want more information on this scam google Abbott newman and associates - don't give these people any info and more importantly any money - they are scammers!!!!

I received a call this morning from a recording stating I have official been served it will either be deliver to my address or place of business. I called 972-793-0439 and a man answer and ask was my name Marie  I said YES this is me and he said I have an attitude and to call back when I have a better one. I keep calling back and a recording is coming on now.

I too got a prerecorded message. I called the phone number that they said to call for more info. The number was too a place called abbott newman and associates. They told me I was going to be served with papers for a bad check fruad. When I asked the woman for her name and address she hung up on me. When i called back later a diff woman was being diffcult with the info. I told her it wasn't that difficult to give me her name and address. She told me it was and that ha ha I would now have to wait until monday. I called back a few times and she continued to say ha ha ha ha. What profffesional person does that??
I googled the company got some web site - there was no address and no phone number - real legit. And when I googled the company again i found other people found there addresss - a ups store!!!! They are in new york lewiston - I don't live in ny. And why is someone calling me from TEXAS to serve me with papers when I don't even live there?????
AND if he wanted to meet me to deliver them wouldn't he be there when u called back????? Why doesn't he give u a phone number to call HIM BACK??????sounds very scamy to me???

me too, but it was a prerecorded message saying they had legal papers for me to sign and they would serve me at work or home?! Couldn't even understand the when it said the mans name?!
