Yes, it certainly is a shame when some troll or shill posts disinformation about debt in this forum, particularly when they identify the company as "CMG" (as you did).  Y'see, the top hit for CMG is "Chipotle Mexican Grill"

Its a shame how many people write reviews based on their inability to take care of their responsibilities. This company called me also. Its something that I forgot to take care of. I remember specifically the debt that they are referring to.

Its just like when people type reviews on the internet for electronics, the people who loved the product usually don't post anything but let someone have a GRIPE....they will be the first one to go online and say something negative. Often times unwarranted. SHAME!

These ppl called someone that i listed on my reference sheet. They asked if it was me, the person told them yes. And they proceeded to give out my personal information. Not ask 'me' to verify or my last 4, but my full social, job at the time, address, and other personal information...again, not letting the person even verify for certain they were me. So after they get into a shouting match and threaten 'me' with things they cannot very well enforce, they hung up. I myself called back and they said "Oh don't call back now." And hung up. I attempted to call them.numerous times, but i was either placed on hold or hung up on. They are not reputable and I suggest no one work with them. I myself am a commercial and am familiar with the laws. They broke MANY of them and still refuse to speak to me. I call BS!  

Always let the company verify your information. NEVER give them your social....if they are credible, they should already have your information. I didn't have the same experience as ( warrn ). It was something I forgot about in the past and I took care of it before it went any further.
