Good for you!! I've been getting these calls too and heard basically the same as you did. I just choose to ignore the idiots and if need be, I will change my number. Thanks for posting, I was looking to see if anyone got the same as I did.
I too have a bill I'm paying on, but it's my insurance company paying because it was due to a car accident. These harrassing calls...surely there is a way to shut this harrasing company down and get the fined enough so they cannot reopen as a different name and harrassing others.

tommy leaves me a message everyday. Today after he recited the numer he either forgot to hang up or intentionally did not hang up. there was some very strange sounds, drinking, slurping, possibly masterbating!!!?, sighing and then he say "kill her" in a creepy breathy tone. I will be calling urology associates tomorrow about the bill that i have been paying on and let them know what i think about this scum bag!

Got a call saying he was MJ from Urology Associates??? Never been to one before so not sure what that was about.

Called in the office looking for a co-worker.  I'm the receptionist so I have to screen all the call. Tommy would say the call is a personal business matter.  Took a message for co-worker to call him back at 972-991-1251 between 8am-5pm @ DIF

The caller ID said " The Big Big Show"  The callers name was Tommy from  DIF Services.
They get your cell number off your medical file and records. Never put your cell number as an alternate number , or as an emergency contact. I put a good friends number down as a contact right before surgury and they called him several times trying to contact me. HIPPA law violation!!!!!!!! ID said " The Big Big Show"  The callers name was Tommy from  DIF Services.

The caller ID says" Big Big Show" Then a message was left saying " this is Tommy withe DIF Services, my hours are from 8-5.  Very unprofessional and very hard to understand. Must be low bid. Calls several times daily.

I am receiving constant phone calls from this individual named "Hi" "I'm Tommy please give me a call", like he is my old pal and buddy; this has gone on for over a year and he calls me on all of my phones.  There is no answer when I call the number.

The number 972-991-1251 comes back to a collection company.

He calls when he thinks I will not answer and leaves the above message.

I have no idea why or what he is calling me about.  No other contact or correspondence.  I am making arrangements to record his calls to me and turn them in to the appropriate authorities.

Very unscrupulous individual and company.

they changed their number to 972-991-1252, they are ruthless, i do not owe any debt and they called me for someone i know who does. tommy moore threaten me with "legal actions" if i did not cooperate.

They knew my name and just said it was a business matter. Perhaps a collection agency. But don't know how the got my cell #

A Tommy from this number called my husband at work and would not tell the receptionist what it was concerning, only to call him back by 5pm. Their fax number does appear to be 972-991-9682. I  typed in Yahoo Search: "fax 972-991-9682 DIF" and a listing for them with the Better Business Bureau came up. The information there (which says they have complaints), says owned by Lee Ward and gives another contact number of 214-352-8698.  Here's the info:

by law he has to stop calling.  also, i recommend reading the FDCPA which outlines all laws and regulations that debt collectors must abide by.

I called this guy back, after understanding that he's a one man collector for medical services.  Offered to handle the situation myself.  Asked him which office he was refering too, what check number he was refering too, then he said "That's ok, have a nice day." and hung up on me.  So I called the possible companies and found the one in question, so we worked out a deal and found that everything was OK, the medical office said they would take care of this man.  The he calls me back later threating me with warrants, and stating I was not being cooperative.  This man is going down.

I rec'd a msg from this number also just now on my cell. When I returned the call the guy Tommy got really rude with me. He didn't address who he was just said DIF or DIS and started yelling at me and threatening me. I hung up on him!!!

a guy from DIF called my cell asking for my son when i asked for what he would not tell me, i told him not to call my cell phone anymore if he could not tell me what it was regarding,he said he was recording me and so i gave him my full name told him i was the mother of person he was looking for and not to call my personal cell phone anymore, and told him did you record that!!!!

somebody called me from 972-991-1251... they would not tell me what 'dif' meant. I am not calling them back, as they seem to be disreputable. If they really want to talk to me, they can identify themselves properly, up front.

It also might be worth noting that these people not only leave completely uninformative messages, but they also send text messages from time to time saying "PLEASE CALL". Very annoying and extremely unprofessional... even for collectors.

Received a call from DIF Services but it took a few times to understand what they were saying because the guy who left the message sounded drunk or intoxicated to some extent. So I called the number back late at night to finally figure out that it was DIF Services. All the message said was DIF 972-991-1251 I guess, like I said it was so unclear and garbled. Definitely was not left by anyone that would have left you with the impression that it was a professional call.

Yes, my vote also goes for collection agency.

The guy of course does not state this in the voicemail, simply saying "Hi, it's for [your name - yes, they know it]. This is Tommy. Please call me @ 972-991-1251". That is, they just try to get you curious and lure you in to call them back.
