Auto dialer called wanting to sell an extended warraty on my auto. I pressed one to play along since the news has been saying numerious people in this area have been scammed by people calling wanting to sell extended auto warranites. The female answering the line would not offer any information about the company other than it was Warranty Helpdesk. But the recorder siad it was "Consumer Services" I asked to be forwarded to a supervisor and was refused unless I gave the year model of my vehicle. I aksed the woman what company underwrites their policies and she stated that she did not know that informatin. I asked what company issues the policy and again she didn't know. I asked who the attorney of fact was for her company so I could send legal corrispondence to and she said she didn't know. I informed her of the news reports about the scams and asked her just how many suckers they get by doing this and she would not comment. I asked again to speak to a supervisor and she stated that she was one. I asked her to put my number on the do not call list in their system since I already had it on the national do not call list and I informed her that I would be filing a complaint for the violation and she did'nt comment. I asked again for the attorney of fact that could have served legal corrispondence and she asked me to hold on while she got a supervisor and put me on the never ending hold.... They just called my office phone with automated call about putting our business phone number on an internet "yellow pages".

this number called my cell, since my brother just died in NJ when i saw the number I panicked...........block this call my phone is on the do not call list

They called our office with an automated sales pitch about giving up on yellow pages and getting your business listed on google, and said "...hundreds of people search for your services but you are not currently being found on Google".  Thats a load of crap... we are a web design service and we come up in the top 5 on google for our search terms.

Automated message from "Gina" for "Google Local" - pressed 8 for them to remove our number.  This exact one called last week from a different number and dialed to be removed from their list as well, but apparently they just call from a different number when you do that - this garbage has to stop because it's very difficult to conduct any kind of business when these calls are tying up our lines all day long!

Called to press "1" to speak to a representative about advertising my business with them instead of yellow pages. I'm not a business.

Too bad there's no way to report these people to my service provider.  Seems they won't even do anything.  Only the FCC can look into it, and only if you've been on the DNC list for a month.  These people are clearly criminals.

I got 2 phone calls from 973-232-0376, very annoying, didn't bother to answer.

I heard my cell phone and ran to my bedroom, dug it out of my purse, hit send just in time for them to give up...called it back thinking it might be my son calling from Bahrain, he's on deployment in the Persian Gulf, with NAVY, only to find it's some kind of crap that I have NO interest whatsoever in at ALL!! I don't think these jokers should be able to get our numbers at all unless we give them our numbers ourselves.  We have to pay for these unwanted calls.  Sometimes you don't have the luxury of knowing who is calling until you answer..I'm for sure going to answer just in case it's my son. I don't like anyone having my cellphone number unless I give it to them personally.  That's an invasion of my privacy and rights and cost me unneccessary expenses to talk to people I don't even know or want to know...yes I'm ticked!!

I too just got a call from them.  The "Warranty Help Desk" on my brand new work mobile phone that no one has outside of my family.  I asked what company they were from and she repeated the name.  I told her that my car company doesn't even know my work number.  Her immediate response was "We are not supposed to dial work numbers, I will take you off the list, thank you."  Then immediately hung up.  I would not give them ANY information at all.  I looked up the number and it's from Millburn, NJ???

Just got a call from them a few minutes ago.  I answered, pressed 1 to speak to an "agent."  Trying to tell me my business cell phone number was referred concerning my personal vehicle.  I laughed at the girl and advised her they needed to remove the number they called immediately or I would file with the F.C.C. and F.T.C. for violations of the do not call registry.

I don't know how many times I've gotten a call from this number...not only me but my husband and daughter too.  We all have our own cell phones, and we all get calls from this number.  IT'S REALLY GETTING OLD!!!

Got call from this #; left no message but I dialed and got a voice message offering to extend my auto warranty.  Auto warranty "extensions" are now appearing in spam a lot - purporting even to be available for cars with 100,000+ miles and several years old (HA!).  This outfit is probably involved in this and other "offers" as well, and telemarkets as result of getting phone #'s from something people posted on-line - either taking phone # from there, if available, or getting from other name/address info which they found or were sold to them.  This whole area of e-mail/spam and telemarketing - often where they have obtained specific contact information, is spreading in geometric proportions today.

OK, you know what, i'm WAY to busy to be getting "junk" phone calls. Bad enough it hapens on my home phone, but now my cell too?!?!?!  You tell yourself that you recognize the number, so you go through the trouble of back-tracking through your phone book searching, then it turns out to be bogus!!! Pain in my left one for sure....

i got a phone call from this number and did not pick up they left a message about how my car warranty is going to expire, i also received a phone call from 253-473-3386 and its the same thing they also called my house. Its weird because both my cell and home number are new so im wondering where they could get it from. When you try calling back it says the number is disconnected.Does anyone have more details.

answered the phone and the guy told me my warranty was done on my car.  Told him I was interested.  Asked what kind of car I drove, I made up a car. Asked why he did not have this information as he knew my warranty was expired.  He said he is only given the phone number from the company.  He said I qualified and that as soon as he took some personal details he would transfer me to the senior warranty specialist.  I said that I would not give him any information until I heard what they were offering.  I asked him were his office was and he said that they are located all over Southern California.  But he was not allowed to say were he was.  As I would not give him the information that he wanted he therefore could not introduce me to his senior warranty person and wished me a happy holiday.
