That number keeps calling my cell phone, and wont leave a message, when i call from a landline, it says disconnected?! How is this possible?

Called my house today.  Caller ID said "Cell Phone NJ".  Left no message.

Just called me. No message. I tried calling back no answer.

They keep calling me too. It is always an automated call but this time I pressed 9 to speak with a person. They said they wanted to lower my interest rate. I told them I am on the Do Not Call List. They said I contacted them about lowering my rates-which I DID NOT DO. So, I asked them what the last 4 digits of my card are. They said they can't give me that info. I told them to take me off their list. They said they can't do that. I told them I was going to report them and the b*****d hung up on me.  Their manners are so sucky I would bet they are calling from prison-many scammers do that.

Actually I think the DNC list is quite effective. What some people don't seem to understand is that the DNC list won't stop calls from scammers. These are people trying to steal your credit card info. Do you really think they care about the Do Not Call list?

Got a call from this number but I wasn't home.  They left no message.  When I googled the number I saw all these posts.  I guess they only try to get the live ones.

I got an automated call from Rachel about lowering interest on credit ncards...Have had this call before. I now hang up on them. I think the Do Not Call List is a joke. We get many bogus calls and we are on the list. The law needs to have some teeth to be effective.

Just got a call from this # 973-323-5864.  I'm on the Do Not Call List.  When the machine picked up, whoever called just hung up.  I've received calls from here before and it comes up as a cell phone on caller ID.  Once, I did pick it up and it was the same "lower your interest rate" message and to press 9.  I just hang up on these calls and NEVER press any #.  Thinking that it could be an auto dialer since so many say they are on the do not call list.

therse people called me i asked to be remover from the list a black man called me a "jack***" then called me a "n****r" when i asked for a supervisor he put me on hold then came back on and pretended to be "Billy the supervisor" i knew it was him so i asked to have a removal confirmation mailed to me , which is the law as i know it he then called me a n****r again and said he wasnt going to take time from his busy day to mail me "that s***" this unprofessional behavior is dragging the black race down after all of our hard work trying to level the race playing field./

Same thing happened to me an hour ago. After I questioned him and told him I just filed Fraud on my credit card and wanted to know what credit card company he was from.....He hung up on me

This is Wayne again. I am in Ohio, but since this number came back to a land line, I called the Essex County, NJ sheriff's hotline which is 973-877-TIPS. The Sgt. I talked to took the information and is going to the prosecutor to see if they have anything going on with that number or the person it's registered to.

got a call from this number but did not answer it  they did not leave a message try to call the number and it said my call could not go through

Caller ID said New Jersey call. We got the same automated message about lowering our interest rate. We hit the 9 and nothing happened. Thinking it didn't register we hit it again. Phone went dead immediately. Called our phone carrier and they said to call the police to see if others got the call. Called police and noone had reported it. I then used reverse lookup and it comes back as a landline in Essex County, New Jersey. Nothing else...

Just got the same call.  Pressed 9 and some guy said was I interested in lowering my interest rates on my credit cards.  Told me he was affiliated with visa and master card and was working with them to to lower interest rates for people that were paying on time.  When he told me he was going to run a credit check on me I got suspicious.  Told him I was at work and can I call him later.... He hung up.

Caller ID said "No Name". I answered and a recorded voice said, brightly, "Hello. This is Rachel at..." and it got cut off. I said, "Hello?" Nada.

Called my house today and caller ID said Wireless Caller.  I answered and autobot voice said call was in reference to lowering my interest rate and to press 9 if interested.  Never identified where they were calling from.  I decided to press 9 since it was curious that they didn't identify the company. A man answered and said "Member Services".  I asked what company he was calling from and he hung up on me.
