They are likely compiling a database of active numbers that they can sell for some purpose. Ignore them.

Clearly a rank call

I get these calls all the time they dial any number that comes into there system. They are working for the I want to pay to find out who called me company. Did you ever try and find out who called you and they are willing to have you pay 9.99 to give you that information?? well this is a booming business on the internet. I have a fax number that rings all the time with stupid numbers like the one that just called my skype number it never ends. Ant the Do Not Call List they feed into this. I have been on the Do Not Call List for over a year and I am getting more calls now than I did before I registered. It's all about the money and nothing else. Just ignore the ones you do not recognize let them move onto to someone else.

I got the same call. The outgoing calls come from probably a VoIP Service which can be spoofed. Meaning it looks like it came from a specific number but the number is fake. If it is a scam, I have no idea how they work because no one actually picks up.

I am also on "do not call list" registry, but those telemarketers  and other annoying callers who bug you a lot,  don't care about it- if they need your donations or vote(in case of political calls) or whatever else heck they need, they do not care whether you are on do not call registry or not. They simply do not care about either your privacy or anything like that, when they call with those stupid offers like lower your credit card debt or asking for money or asking  for support during political campaigns or alike.

just got this today on a business line.. no answer .. hung up after 2 rings.

I received a call from this number but there was no message and I didn't recognize the number so I looked up the area code. It was NJ. I live in AR and don't know anybody from NJ. When I looked up the area code, I ran across this site and thought I would see if this number was on the list. It is.

Yeah...just got a call from this number at 7:36pm to my GV account. I'm in MN. I was sitting here in front of the computer when it came in and it didn't ring at all but shows as missed call when I went to check. My husband suggested I look it up because he thought it sounded familiar. I didn't call it back. Strange all these reports from people here.

They keep calling me and since I am deaf and text message only, it is apparent this person doesn't know who I am.  I certainly can't answer the phone and do a yada yada.  Well darn, it might have been my long lost relative in Nigeria looking to leave me 50 million bucks.  oh well.

I got a one ring call from this number.   973-360-2026 and called it back.  It said it was disconnected.  I'm now going to go to the authorities with it.  It pisses me off that our government allows people to sue disconnected numbers in fraud scams and do nothing about it.  I'm a pissed of American that isn't taking this crap anymore.  I'm sick of the collectors that call for the person that used to have my number and won't take my number from their calls and now I am going to pursue those jerks.  I'm going to win because I am not the person they seek and I record every call that I tell them I am recording and telling them I am not such person but they call later on during the days.  Don't sit back anymore.  Seek these jerks out and send a clear message.  Its called fraud and harassment and both are punishable.

Received an e-mail from my Google Voice account saying I missed a call from this number. My phone never rang. Reading the other responses here has me scratching me head. Weird.

Just received a call from  973 360 2026..no message no nothing. this is not the first time.

Got two back-to-back calls on my Google Voice number, which is not listed anywhere. Account is set up as "do not disturb" so it goes straight to voicemail. Two calls were bam-bam, one right after the other. Automated? Must be. And looks like majority of recipients here are reporting the call on an Internet-based line of some sort. I agree with the hacking theory...

Just recieved this same call.  Unkown on my cell phone and then the number came up on my caller id.  interesting.  I hate this stuff.

Received a call from the above number, it rang once.  I tried calling back, a recording stated this phone is disconnected.  I would not like to receive another call from this number, can this be blocked?

Please tell me why your company calls my house on a daily bases, only to hang up on me when I answer? 49 calls so far. It?s a little irritating.
Someone from this number, using your company name. 973-360-2026. Please do a little googling, as I think you will find this needs to be adrress.

Showed up on my list of missed called with Google Voice, but never rang-through to my actual phone (I'm guessing Google Voice filtered it out as a spam caller).

Received a call from this number it hung up called it back it was disconected.
