Whenever you see a number like this especially on a weekend you can almost be assured its some kind of scam.

I have an app that simply plays a "fax machine" sound which I immediately deployed upon seeing the number pop on call display.

They called me at 8:00 pm, also they speak spanish because I'm un Perú.

One man called me from this phone nimber +9734387135 , he said be in Belgique contry ..like Cars seller..

This sounds to me like that they have managed to hack info from the computer sales outfits.  Then its only a matter of googling a name and or the phone number and they can go to street view.  

Google your name & phone number yourself, make any place such as spokeo remove your info. If you have FB, make sure its set to private.

This number called me today 1:30pm, said he was from windows and that my computer was infected and that he was calling to help. I told him I didn't have a computer and he said told me what computer I had and who owned it. He even told me my address....wtf!!! I told him that windows or Microsoft would NEVER call anyone. He kept trying to get me to listen, but I hung up on him. This guy will try everything, so tell you mom, grandma, aunt, friend etc. post it on facebook. Make everyone aware of this scam.....

Call received at 8:15 Friday, May 2nd.  Said they were from an alarm company.   As I have had calls like this before, I hung up and didn't give them any information.

They called me regarding buying my car, said they would purchase right now through pay pal.
99% fraud

Its a well-know scam and its all over this board.  Your caller did not deposit any money.  He sent you a fake notice that money has been depositied.  You wire him part of that money, PayPal tells you that your account is overdrawn, and you have to give PayPal the overdrawn amount and a fee for over-drawing your account.  

Stop all contact with the scammer.

Is calling to buy a car via pay pal saying how he lives in USA and he deposited the money and want for us to send him money first ???

Called me at 2:30am CST and did not leave a message.

Number 973-438-7135 is a default for Google Voice, so anyone that uses Google who doesn't have a Google phone account.

Received a call about an ADT Security system. Sounded very suspicious so I asked for a number where I could call which she didn't give. I asked her where she was calling from and she said Toronto. Area code was 973 which is not Toronto. She terminated call when I told her we were not giving any information to her.

Just got a call from these guys. Said he was from windows. I cut him off right away. I said "Pardon? For what computer?" He asked: " Do you have a windows computer?" I said no. He said "F*** O**!!" and hung up. I'm still laughing.

they keep calling and not talking....its making me sick....... id like to have him here in front of me, he hear ringing but not from the phone

These idiots have been calling me once every one or two months for several years. They read from a script and if you ask them a question, they just return to the point where you interrupted them and read on. I mess with them for a few minutes and then I tell them my computer is a Mac and the line goes dead immediately! What a waste of time.

I get a call from these monkeys  at least once a week. Obama is good at spying on his own country but doesn't mind foreigners from setting up shop in the US to steal from you!!!!!

A call from that number left a message on my answering machine at 6:15 this morning that sounded something like  "Lisa, call your mother."

The old - "there is a virus on your MS computer" - I didn't wait for the "let me log into your computer" part.

Called today 3 times, 1 time from a 647 area code.  Said he was representing Microsoft Windows and that I have a serious virus on my computer that needs immediate repair.  Got angry with me that I didn't allow him to talk me through a fix.  I told him I wasn't interested.  I am in Ottawa, Ontario.

Ridiculous! They called me at 8:15 pm Sunday night.(Vancouver, Canada) I didn't even let her finish her sentence before hanging up. So obvious it was some kind of scam! What legit company makes calls at that time?

I'm in Brazil, they called 3 times but no communication.

Called me twice in a period of 3 min, even after I told them off. The strange part is they knew my name and called me on my company cell which is not linked to my name in anyway.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from Windows. My husband answered, and cursed them out, so they proceeded to call back 3 minutes later. I asked them why they were calling after 9pm on a holiday, they had no idea today was Thanksgiving here in Canada. She was at least pleasant enough to apologize and say she would not call again. Quite clearly this is a scam, BTW our computer broke down weeks ago, so I'm really not worried about any poential virases. LOL

called at 11:45am saying from windows and that I had reported a lot of errors and malaware I just told them I that there was a problem with this report ( I don't own a computer) and they just hung up

I keep getting from this company.  I told them that I am not interested and he started yelling and cursing. Now he has been cursing in hindi language giving a bad name to his country. I have reported it to police.  When I call this number back, I get the busy signal.  Can someone suggest any ways to track this person?  I have recorded his abusive language.
