Sage Healthcare Group contacted me after seeing my resume on the internet.  They contacted me via e-mail.  The interview consisted of  asking:  My full name, age and sex.  Telling me that they are setting up an office in Greenville, IL which is scheduled to open on July 13 and they are recruiting new employees.  Even though I have no experience in this field, that they would train me.  Starting out pay of $15.00 hourly during training and $30.00 hourly after training.  They were going to mail me a laptop and quoted a long list of software programs, that I would need to purchase to be able to do the data entry for the company.  They sent me a check via Fed EX (overnight even).  I was supposed to take this check to my ATM to deposit and send them a copy of my deposit slip.  (Authorized is misspelled as Athorized) They sent me two checks, one addressed to me and the other addressed to Joseph Cary.  Called Sage Healthcare Group and was told that  was a mistake on the banking institution's part (Regions).  Notice the person who mailed me these checks is named James Carry and the other check was made out to Joseph Cary.  The checks are just printed on regular copy paper with no water or security marks on them.   After I called them and told them my bank will not except the checks, the lady got a little indignant and said "You were advised to deposit it in your ATM machine and send me a copy of your deposit slip".  It is a scam but the police said "Because it is based out of the UK by the time they are tracked down, they have already closed down the website/location and have moved on to the next site/location to continue to scam people.  The phone number is traced to a computer in New Jersey.
 

Oh, a few things here are the names that I sent the money to. Watch out for these names

Salami Boluwatife
James Carry
Sharlena D. Clough

Most of these scumbags live in the state of Georgia and Maryland. Watch out for these names.

If anyone - I repeat - anyone asks you to use a wire transfer service (Western Union, MoneyPak, GreenDot, MoneyGram, etc.) for any reason - I repeat - for any reason, no matter what - you are dealing with crooks. No, and I mean NO, real business or company uses wire transfers for any reason. They are CASH. You are sending CASH to someone you do not personally know. This money is untraceable, unreturnable, and can be picked up anywhere in the world with little, or no ID. CASH.

Is smartrecruiters.com a fake site ? Is smartrecruiters.com legit and trustworthy ?  

I received a email after replying for a position on indeed.com.  I believe it is a scam.  I have been going back and forth with this individual since about 11:45 today.  Something just doesn't seem right.  I have Google this company as well.  I am just a bit confused as to how they received my information from me applying for a job on another website. I too got a call from them and reported to police. This is a scam and one went by the name of Lucy chevron which isn't a real name.

It IS a scam!!! They scammed me out of thousands of dollars. My bank account was closed and the bank is after me for the missing funds. they send you a fake check and have you wire money to one of their other low lifes. Its a scam!! they ruined my life!! AVOID THEM!!!!

I received a letter of employment and this number was at the bottom.

I got a text message from this number telling me that I have an on line interview for a job.

I got fraudulent calls from this number and want to know who is using it so I can contact the police.  Thank you.
