If you are receiving these calls on your cell phone download Mr.Number, I love this app it is free and any callers not in my contact list get hung up on and my phone does not even ring to disturb me.  Wish I had this feature on my home phone.

They call every day.  I pick up and no one answers.  Just want these calls to stop!

Repeats calling everyday as late at 900 pm

Called for last 3 days. Did not answer.  How do you stop unwanted solicitations? Do Not Call List has no impact.

Also i googled Opinion America and found this info. OpinionAmerica Group, LLC. - 3 Wing Drive, Suite 245 - Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927 / (973) 829-1030. I called this number and asked them to remove me from their list and she said she would take care of it.

Opinion America calls my work number all the time, several times a day & week. They ask to speak with our technicians. I keep telling them that the technicians are never in the office and they hang up and call back. Very annoying!!!!!

Called me once yesterday, once today. Call disconnects when I answer.

They've been calling me all week, I never answer. Changing the ringtone for the number to silent.

Received call on a random number in our company's hunt group (i.e. not a published number so this company must be calling randomly).  First thing the guy says is "we're not trying to sell you anything" and asks if I would mind answering a 2 question survey.   Something about lighting.  I said no thanks, buh bye.

Research group conducting voluntary surveys. Generally wasting peoples time.  

got a call and as I did not recognize the number just silenced it

Number keeps calling my kid's cell -- get the same thing no VM left and when i call it back it says ext 3205 is on the phone.

Here's what i found out: they are Opinion American Group out of Cedar Knolls NJ. another number they go by is 9738291030.  The numbers they are calling from are Voips with Light Path which is a business class of Cablevision.

Fun to be on the DNC list and still get lovely people like this calling.

Called office asking to speak with our president (addressed by name). He asked if I could transfer him to his voicemail, but instead I offered to take down a message as our "president does not use voicemail." The guy immediately hung up. Rudely, mind you.

Got the standard BS call no message from this number.  I called them back from a different number and told them to immediately take me off of their call list, and that I had blacklisted them.

I asked here where she got my number.  Of course, I got some BS answer.  I told her that she had been blacklisted and that I would report her on the web.  I said that perhaps if enough people do that, it would teach them to stop calling numnbers that they have no business calling.

Received a call this evening and took a roughly ten minute long survey about the MTA's response to SuperStorm Sandy and other major weather events. Caller was polite and I was bored so I let him do his thing.

som1 called.. stating they work for MTA, and they are located in NJ.  i asked for his employee id # or anything.. but he had nothing to give me.  PLEASE don't fall for these idiots.  

Also try to hang up asap, because they can find out your location if you stay on phone longer.
the guys name was JOE TODD.

I picked up on this phone call just to find out what they were calling about.  It is OpinionAmerica and just ask stupid questions like 'what did I know about mail'.  How dumb is that. They must get paid for each phone call they complete. Let's see if they stop calling now!

Has called everyday for 3 days a in a row at 7:30pm. no message. Called back on a secure line at 6am and got voicemail for Opinion America. Sounds like telemarket service

They have called three times. The first time I picked up and they began to ask me about my driving habits. I hung up, but they have called again twice.

I received a call on my cell phone from this number 973-850-7480 on 12-13-2012 at 7:16 PM.  I did not answer.  I looked it up and found the job posting at http://youferral.com/jobpost/show/6455855-open-house-union-nj.  It reads:

I Picked up the phone and answered loudly: YEEEEEEESSSSSSSS???????????

They hung up!  Went on line and saw they had job openings for survey takers at $9.00 per hour.

They are calling our business asking to speak to our CEO (yeah, like that's going to happen).  They are doing a survey regarding credit card processing.
