I have received 10 calls from this number.   I finally called back, the IVR identified them as Vonage.  I went through the menu until I was connected to a person.  I told them to stop calling. They asked for the number I was calling from which I gave, then they asked for my first and last name.  I told them they didn't need that. They assured me I would no longer be called
A few hours later I got a call from a live person saying "Hey is this a business?"  I do not have a Vonage account and they were calling my work phone!

I called the number and it was "degree Match". a place that sets you up with schools for the degree youer looking for

I just received a call from Vonage (at this number) from "Mark" who said that his 'badge number' is 866-243-4357. I answered the call, but he refused to speak with me and insisted on speaking with my husband. REALLY?? I arranged for Vonage service. MY account is charged each month. I manage all computer and communications functions in our home. This marketeer refused to talk to me about solicitation of a second phone line at our home. I will no longer accept any phone call from Vonage. I will pay my bill and manage my account online (which is ALSO MY RESPONSIBILITY NOT MY HUSBAND'S) but I will NEVER accept another call from Vonage!!!!

If someone is still continuing to call from this number after reading all these reports, they are really...the worst thing on the earth.

We are current Vonage subscribers. We have been getting multiple calls from 973-852-4477 showing as Vonage unrelated to our account and service. A lady on the call this time.As usual she said she is from Vonage. I grilled her if she was calling in connection with legitimate business directly related to our present account and plan or to cross-sell or upsell and it seems they are trained to avoid or skirt around while trying to answer such queries. I was sure it was a telemarketer cloaked as Vonage. She further stated she works for Vonage. So again I grilled her if works for implies she is an employee with a W2 or she works for a business with association with Vonage. Sh again danced around. I told her please do not call for any sales related but she hung up.

How can we bar Vonage from calling as telemarketers when you have Do Not Call setup but they masquerade as the company providing the service? I suppose if we warn Vonage and they persist then FTC has a place to file a complaint and you should have the itemized details in your bill.

Can someone please suggest.

I keep on getting calls from this number to my cell and they don't leave a message.  After reading these postings I am not calling back.  My number is on the no-call list, how did they get my number!?!?!

This number has called my cell phone nearly every day for over a week.  They do not leave a message.

I got few.  Stupid blank voice mail from (973) 852-4477.

I do not know who this number belongs to. They do no leave a message, and I do not answer call from unknown numbers.

Caller ID comes up Vonage. Called my office phone asked for the person in charge of the phone decisions. I said that was me and she hung up.

Got ANOTHER freaking call from these A**holes this morning .... Called the number back and Guess what?  It went to VONAGE Customer Service AGAIN !  Still claim this isn't your number dumbass??  Filing another report !!

Got a call from this number on my Business phone ... heavy breathing then some jerk calling me every dirty name in the book .... Called the number back and surprisingly, it goes to VONAGE customer service ... Talked to a CS person, they claim it is not their number ... guess what A**HOLE, yes it is and I am filing a report against Vonage !!
