973-910-6350 is definitely a scam with a nutcase calling himself Robert Corvell posing as a DEA Agent and wanting money immediately for a "fine". Report him to the real DEA @ 1-877-792-2873.

Call 1-877-792-2873 and report them directly to the DEA.  The DEA doesn't take kindly to the sort of thing these scammers are doing:

I also got call from DEA agent Tom Gorman,said i bought Viagra 5 yrs ago.I told him i have a prescription for all my drugs an buy them from Costco. He said i will get a summons in the mail. Big scammer

Got the same call left msg called it back answering machine. Lft msg it wasnt me, didnt ever order anything.....

I did check my credit card to to make sure I wasnt scammed.

They didnt refer to me by name when they left a message.  Only "your name and address"  after listening to it a couple of times it sounded also like they were reading it.

Anyway for what its worth glad to know its a scam and my info hasnt been highjacked.

same agent with this number called 973-910-6350.  Acted like we had purchased drugs and he said he worked for the DEA. We toyed with him. They always use a real identity but if you look up the real identity you will find a different phone number.

Yep, I received a call two days ago. I also received a call a few years back with the same scam!
I did call the DEA and reported the call.
I do have a recording as they left a message and a number.
I cant understand how they get away with this ?

I just received a call yesterday from this number and a person claiming to be a DEA agent named Robert Corbell at ext 1525.  I had gotten a call a few months ago but couldn't understand half the message so I never thought anything of it.  When I got this call yesterday I almost burst into tears.  I had ordered a medication online a number of years ago, after an accident and some pretty horrible experiences with local doctors, but found a local doctor eventually that figured out what was going on.  I immediately picked up my phone to call my attorney, who didn't happen to be in his office.  I went home and did a google search after watching a KATIE episode about scammers calling people to get them to pay bills they didn't owe.  It really made me start thinking.  Thank God I found I wasn't alone.  This guy can p****off.  Why doesn't the government do something about this!?  Well, I hope to goodness that everyone this creep calls will just do a simple google search of his name and phone number.  Disgusting!

The phone call can be identified as taped recorder. The timing of the call was made at 5:00am Pac time. Extremely suspicious. DEA should take this guy out!

I have received numerous phone calls from 9739106350 which is bogus call that attampt to get your insider information. People behind these calls have potraited to be DEA Agents, as a result, I believe they have violated the law.

As for now, I am writing a letter to the Fed and demand for an investigation.

A gentlemen identifying himself as "DEA  Agent Robert Corbell"  utilized these hideous and immoral scare tactics on me this very morning.

As I knew the packages he allegedly "had in his possession" with my contact information could not be genuine, and his accusations and questions were both highly unprofessional and suspect, I immediately went online to Google his number.  At this time, I discovered countless reports on internet scamming , etc.(which I suspected this was from the onset of his original call).

F.Y.I. for any unfortunate individual who may receive this unpleasant phone call:  A true agent of the goverment would NEVER contact an American citizen directly and blatantly threaten them with court/jail times/ attorney fees, etc....there would be a legitimate liason easily proven viable, and if someone was indeed doing something illegal, there would no warning, no phone call, no anything....law enforcement officials would simply come to your home in a real-live police cruiser and you would then proceed directly to jail, Do Not Pass Go!

Furthermore, said "agent" asks you to "hang up so they can call you right back"...this is an immediate red flag and is designed to cover his supposed anonynimity among other things.

I keep getting messages from this number and called back.  They are stating that I am facing federal charges due a medication I ordered around 4 years ago.  They are identifying themselves as federal agents.

Someone from this number is calling me, identifying themselves as an agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration, claiming that I am part of some black market drug ring for a purchase I made in 2007. I have attempted to explain that this is ridiculous. Agent John Riley has informed me that a package contains allegations will arrive here and I can deal with those.

I called my step-daughter, a sergeant with the sheriffs office, both times. She advised me to call them back and request that some identification be provided and to "google" the number where the calls originated. This number is what I found.

I called them back and got an answering machine. I left a message to the effect of what my daughter told me. I believe this to be a ridiculous and annoying scam. I informed them that their harassment has been reported to the police.

Ditto. I just reject the calls.
