those number called me many time in my cellphone and i don't know the owner

Got a call from this number on my blackberry a few minutes ago. My mother has been complaining about these types of calls (fake warranty scam)on her cell phone. We both use T-Mobile, we don't use a land line.

The warranty on my "new" car is about to expire...Last chance....

Same crap... I am on the no call list, but doesnt seem to stop this nonsense!

This is not the first of these bogus calls I have received.  I also got another one from (330) 833-6643.  DON'T PICK THEM UP... DO lame

First time for me, on a Tmobile prepaid cell account which I have had for 3 or 4 years, which is only used to reach out and harass people anonymously.

i got this call lunchtime, i didn't pick up as i didn't recognize the caller and also it showed it came from MA -
thanks to this site, i confirmed it's yet another spam - i have no idea why these people even bother to call!!

Ditto on the numerous calls.  Received one today and let it go to VM.

Suggestion - on the previous call that I received from them, I acted like I wanted to buy their warranty program.  Went through the entire call and told them that my cell phone battery was dying and how could I contact them back.  They gave me this number:  888-282-3524 X4219.

Next time, just drag them through the entire sales process!  Just annoy them back.

How did they know that my auto warranty ran out on a vehicle I no longer own?

Missed a call from (978) 409-5210 and there was no message left.

I didn't answer either one, but it is annoying. I called the number in Andover and the recording says, "number not in service."

I am an AT&T customer, and looking at the above comment, I'll bet AT&T is sharing their numbers with this auto warranty biz.  My car warranty is not applicable anyway.

I wish someone would sue whoever this company is.  Its really annoying.  I got another one of these from another phone number.

I have received calls from "978.409.5210" several times in the past and just a few minutes ago. Decided to press "1" to talk with the rep to see what the deal is about calling me and to find out who they are.

1. Me: Hi, who am I speaking to?
2. Them: Vick.
3. Me: Can you please tell me the name of your company?
4. Them: (no answer, long pause).
5. Me: (thinking they will hang up, I say) I'm very interested and I presently don't have care insurance and would to further information.
6. Them: (click, hangs-up).

I call back the number but receive a automated message stating it is disconnected. Area code listing states that "978" is from Massachusetts, north of Boston to NH (see split 978 -- this is the northern half of old 508; see overlay 351).

Who do I file a complaint to? I'm already on the National Do-Not-Call list.

Called my cell.  I didn't answer.  Googled the number and found this site.

Just got the warranty call, 10th "final warning"

Found a call on my office phone on Monday morning. My phone number is unlisted so I don't know how they are getting it. The call is coming from a Marilyn Freedman, 1 Tanglewood Way N, Andover, MA.  There are other names Rungren and Lawrence at this same address so it is probably a call center.  I just turn these numbers and names over to our Attorney General.  He is a real pit bull when it comes to matters like this.

Got a call but didn't take it.  No message left.  Seems to be auto warranty from what I have researched.

They keep calling!

Received a call from this number on 11/8/08, 5:45pm west coast time. I didn't pick up so it went to voicemail but they didn't say anything.

Let it go to voicemail.  Did not recognize the number.  No message was left.

The tired old car warranty scam with a new number. Calls my cell phone two to three times per day, all attempts to find out who called returns a message that the number cannot be reached or identified. It is ILLEGAL for a telemarketer to call a cell phone from a number that cannot be reached or identified, and it is ILLEGAL for a phone company to allow this to continue. Same number calls my UNPUBLISHED land line 7 to 9 times per day. These people are crooks, do not answer and whatever you do don't press 2 -- if you do you will automatically be put into a database of working numbers and your phone number will be sold to telemarketing firms.

Just missed the call. Have been receiving these weekly. No longer pick up my phone when I don't know who it is. What a waste of minutes.

Thats funny, i have AT&T too! Only my family has my number, i never put it on surveys or give it to anyone else. Who does everyone else have? Is AT&T selling our numbers? it could be that they are selling them to jack up our phone bills- kill 2 birds with one stone.

My cell phone has a call block feature.  I just now typed in the unwanted number 978.409.5210 so can't get back through.
Now when a telemarketer or unknown number shows up, I just answer my phones  with a very happy "Round Table Pizza!  Take out or delivery?"  They've stopped calling my home, let's see if they stop spamming my cell.

What goes does it do to submit a complaint if it doesn't stop these people? They had stopped around last spring, now they have started up again. How do we report them? To whom? My cell carrier is Verizon, so it appears as though all the cell phone companies are selling out numbers. I'd like to figure out how to block certain area codes from being able to call my cell phone (or home phone for that matter). And they also hang up on me each time I try to pin down which vehicle they are calling about. The two vehicles we now own have extended warranties on them. I don't get it. Who do we report this to?
