This is Global Rewards. Extremely pushy and no way to get on do-not-call list as they call from several numbers.

Name on caller ID:....  NEW MAGS.......with above phone #.  Numerous calls last few days.  Have last 4 digits of a credit card [not mine].  Their call sounds as if they are "friends" calling.  We ask they "cease & desist".  Person speaks very fast with foreign accent.

What I forgot to say was that I had the calls stopped in May-July-and now they are calling in Sept all in 2010. So They may stop for awhile but then they call back again a few months later. Unfortunately you have to be nasty. I do not swear but I have asked them if they understand English and when they reply "yes" to that question I tell them to listen to what I say and make them repeat it back to me so I know that they have heard what I stated. Which is to take me off the darn list!!

This phone number keeps calling my work phone. In looking through the other complaints I saw the company name of Global Rewards. I have demanded to be taken off their call list several times. They are relentless!! I finally had to get nasty and they need to be reported to the BBB. I firmly believe that they get this information when you purchase on the internet. They started calling when I purchased through PayPal. I cannot stand these people and it really upsets me that they have our information. Most of the people that call are foriegn...either Western Indian or Asian. How many more phone calls do we have to receive to get them shut down??  This is the THIRD time I have called back to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list.

In a reverse look up on phoneagentsource, the name of this company is: TELEPORT COMMUNICATIONS GROUP - BOSTON, Location: Wilmington, MA and how I know they are trying to scam me is they are calling my work telephone number "regarding my Visa card" which is not linked to my work telephone number.  It is a random scam operation attempting to get your information and making it sound like it is from your credit card company!  I have told them repeatedly to stop calling me and they yelled at me when I said that.  We may be able to file a criminal complaint for phishing by them as the Better Business Bureau can only work with something after it has occurred.

So I hope I did the right thing after receiving as many as 30 calls in the last 3 days (from 978 & 630 area codes).  After my first tactic (aka the  truth - I am not this "Will" you keep asking for), I decided to waste their time like they are wasting mine.  I listed to the pitch, said "yes" to everything (including that I am "Will", and yes I was female) and "verified my address" as 123 Main Street, Jacksonville FL 33333".  Totally bogas address however the "verifier" Patricia Miller (fake! Unless Pat is from India) translated that to 1023 Main St, Jackson GA, 33333.  (I think she was on to me because she asked me to enter my zip on my telephone key pad, but did that stop her? ? NO!) I accepted the 120 gas card offer and some other thing I couldn?t understand and a subscription to US Weekly.  It was a 6 minute call.  Hopefully they will scrub this number off the list when this bad sale is rejected for invalid address from the CC company.

I will let you know if that worked?..

In any event, don?t know how they got the number of my work blackberry which is not used as a phone, guess ?Will? ordered some berry juice and the numbers were transposed?

I'm starting to receive numerous calls from this number as well.  Whenever they call, I tell them about Jesus Christ and offer him into their lives to be their Lord and savior.  One of the reps was so baffled she said the following

              "Uh.......Jesus Christ..........WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM!!!!?"

How do we get them to stop!????! I'm in college and I got 6 calls within one class sitting. Since early  9 am until now, I've gotten more than 10 tens in seven hours!! And I pick up and tell them to stop but the same middle eastern lady keeps talking over me and telling me I'm entitled to a $120 thing.

PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET THEM TO STOP! PLEASE! it is really frustrating.

I got a 2 calls from a company that calls themselves "Global Rewards" today. They knew the last four digits of my credit card and mailing address.  I immediately called my bank and canceled my credit card.  The phone number on Caller ID was 978.570.2075 and the women that call sound foreign. You can also hear all the other operators in the background.  I asked them where they got this type of info and they said from a "marketing partner".  I know it was from the Acai Berry product I almost got scammed on...

They called me five times from this number 978-570-2075 in an hour. I let it ring every time to go over voice mail. Never left a voice mail.

I guess this is same kind of fraud I have passed from other telemarketer companies.

Please be aware and never pick up unwanted caller. They will sign you up for funny things and later on rob your credit card.

The 1st call came at 8am then 14 more calls till now as I write this at 10:30am. On the 4th call I waited until someone said something and I then said, No it is not a good morning I don't appreciate these calls especially at 8am Please take this phone # off you list. The calls continued so each time the phone rang I picked up and immediately hung up.  On the 8th call I let the answering machine answer.  NO message was left. On all the subsquent calls I picked up and immediately hung up,

I recieve approximatly 5 calls from this number a day, and have been for about a month now. Once I listened to the pitch and it was to send you a $120 gas rebate coupon and then sign you up for some monthly program which costs money. I have asked three times over the phone for them to stop calling and they still persist.

The persons I spoke with sounded like they were calling from India.

I got a call from this number a few days ago on my cell phone.  I ignored it because I didn't know the number.  I figured if it was important they would leave a message.  I received a total of 5 calls from the same number that day.  Since then they have called more and more.  Yesterday I decided to answer.  It was a middle eastern woman and there was alot of background noise and she was speaking in a very low voice.  She knew my name, the last 4 digits of my debit card, the fact that my card was a visa, my first, middle initial, and last name, and my full address.  She told me from purchasing from their online store so frequently I would receive in the mail a rebate of $120 and that she wanted to confirm my address.  I said that is my address but can you give me more information about the company and the rebate and she talked so fast and quiet I had to have her repeat herself numerous times.  I assumed this was legitimate because I have spent thousands of dollars at 2 specific stores online over the past few years and several hundred dollars at a few other online stores over the past few years.  But in the middle of the third or fourth explanation of her company I lost service because I was driving at the time.  She didn't call back at all yesterday.  Now today I received 6 calls from this number in 45 minutes and 3 or 4 other calls from them spread out throughout the day.  I am now assuming this is some sort of scam and would like to know if anyone knows anything about this and how to get it to stop.  I did confirm my address to them, (yea I fell for it) and I haven't had any charges to my card yet nor have I had mail yet but today is sunday so I didn't expect to.  If anybody knows anything about this Massachusettes number, 978-570-2075 please let me know so I can warn my banker.

The way this works is people contract with call center companies to make these calls, and the contractors own blocks of numbers they may reuse from campaign to campaign. The call center agent is trained to say that they represent the client. But the number does not belong to the client.

Whoever this is called my cell phone last night, and they knew my name, address, and last 4 digits of a credit card. It's very alarming. Someone I've done business with is not living up to their privacy policy. The offer is $120 dollars in gas coupons to "reward me for using my credit card." The voice on the line was everything you expect from a low level telemarketer and more. Could barely read or pronounce the words in the script. Sounded almost like a voice-to-text software. I felt sorry for him. Just a human being trying to earn a living. But I'd sure like to know who sold my data, and who is behind this. There oughta be a law.

I've been getting a call at my employment.  Callers state that my Visa ending in **** has qualified for a 'FREE' gas card of $125.00 and wanted to verify address.  After stating I was not interest they continue to state "but it is a free $125 gas card, etc." I hang when they don't quit talking.  After hanging up another voice calls for the same thing . .  FEE $125 GAS CARD.  I finally told them I feel I'm being harrassed and they quickly hang up.  It's been two hours with no call backs - MAYBE THEY GOT THE MESSAGE.

Been getting these calls.  I usually do not answer, but getting tired of it.

Answered today and told them to not call again or I would give the number to my State AG.  She said fine and hung up on me.

I'll re-post if they call back.

This number is calling my phone. I change my voice on calls I do not know. I answered like a female and the guy said "Hello Christopher" I said "Excuse me, who is this" He said "Hi Chris" trying to get me to acknowledge who I was without even acknowledging who he was. I even asked for the company name. This has happen numerous times and they hang the phone in my face. This has to be a scam because when I ask those to specific questions right out the bat they refuse to answer and go into there script or hang up. I am still getting calls after I called back the number 978-570-2075 and press 1 for the do not call list. And there calling from the same number.
