a machine informed me that this was for a company offering credit card debt relief and consolidation. When I asked the lady that answered why I kept receiving calls as I do not own a credit card I was immediately hung up on this is the 4th time they have called me within the last 3 months and getting calls from similar companies under different numbers I don't know if they're related.

Telemarketing company about lowering your credit card rates. They got upset when I told them my number was on the national DNC list. They call once or twice a week even after I tell them about my number.

I just got a call from this number. Caller ID said CNAM, I chose the option to speak with a representative. When I told the woman I did not want them calling me She got very angry and her words "I'm telling you not to tell me what to do" then hung up. WOW how do you report these people to someone in authority. There has to be some agency out there that you can contact.

Same as one above.  A recorded message about lowering the interest on my current credit card.  I don't have credit card debt, so this is some stupid robo caller.

Got the call on my cell a while back - from the 'No on 6' campaign - but offering insurance..  I suspect they rent the number during election periods...

Voice mail says they can reduce my credit card rate and that it is very important I call and get the rate lowered. Once someone came in the phone, I asked for a manager and they hung up immediately.

Got call this morning, didn't recognize, so no answer,more BS!!

over the years that I have been in business ( landline phone)  I have learned that telemarketers are a annoying fact of life.
if I answer and no one speaks I immediately hang up and go on with my business and I have learned to not let it bother me.  If there is a telemarketer person on the other end I usually tell them they have the wrong number and request to be removed from their calling list.  This works sometimes. Sometimes I play with them asking questions such as - who gave you this phone number and who told you to call this number and I ask for names and the name and location of the company calling, then I say I will report this to the proper authorities (then all I hear is a click when they hang up) .(I don't care what they are selling I just want to know who and where)  If it is a foreigner with a accent I tell them to put someone on the line that speaks flluent English. They usually hang up but at least I got a jab in there. Telemarketers are difficult to stop and if you are successful in stopping a few there are others who will take their place. .
My cell number is a closely guarded secret and very few people know it. I refuse to give my phone number to a store clerk at the register if asked, I tell them that if they need a phone number for me to make a small purchase to use the store number. (numerous stores do this now) I do not put my cell number on anything.  Any where a phone number is absolutely required I give them the number of a telemarketer or the number at the local landfill. If I am dealing with a person and they insist on my number, I tell them I will trade with them, your number for my number. never had any takers so I give them the landfill number.
this works with unsolicted charity calls,  I say i will donate as much to your charity as you donate to my favorite charity. Never had any takers on that one but it ends the conversation. Good luck in your telemarketer battle, it will be ongoing as long as you have a phone.

if they call you concerning your credit cards ask them how they know you have a credit card (this applies to many things)

I called back and a machine asked if I was "not interested in their special promotions and would like to be placed on their do-not-call list". Press 1!

CALLS EVERY SINGLE DAY. PLEASE STOP THIS COMPANY.

When I called back, it had an automated message that said press one to opt out (you have to listen to the very end of the message to hear that option).  I did that and they don't call anymore.

People  just want to find out who the jerks are that are calling. Have you ever been working on something around the house, you are expecting a call and its this type of crap. These people are not worth my time. And would love to be able to stop any phone selling. If people want a service they will find it .Most of these calls are scams , reason they work like this.  Happy Birthday America  !!! Peace and love...

9785702309---  Calling 3 to 4 times a day.. ID says Utility..Its a computer calling mass numbers. When u pick up nobody is there. These are Bull____  calls. And should be reported to the great President Obama!! as we all know, he has all the answers.. He was a community organizer. He is so qualified to save our world..

Why do people get worked up over or waste time with caring who or where these numbers come from. Anyone with half a brain should know they are telemarketers and the Do Not Call list is worthless so why waste your time? Either don't answer the call, let your message machine screen the calls or whatever you want. It's really a no-brainer. Yep...they are annoying and if we could track them down...someone should introduce their faces to a wall but we all know that's not going to happen in reality, and why go to jail for doing some stupid for such brief satisfaction. Just ignore these idiots!

Received calls from 978-570-2309 multiple times per day for the last few weeks.  They don't say anything when I answer - they ask "Who is this?"  Then they hang up!

Received a call from 1.978.570.2309.

This number calls me every morning around 10 and most early evenings. The few times I've picked up, not even a machine answered.

I get 3-4 calls a day.  I selected on one call to remove me from their list, but no such luck.  Most times the line goes dead when you answer.

After getting six calls from them in two days, I called the number back.  There's now a recording saying that if you want to be taken off their call list to press "1".  We'll see if it works...

I keep getting calls the caller wont say anything. I am getting these calls at all hours of the day and night. I called this number back once and a woman answered pretending to be a recording but I could tell she was a real person.
