Keep getting daily calls from the number. Pretty obnoxious. Dead silence on the other end. Modern phones should be equipped with a permanent block button.

no message.  hung when answering machine picked up

Same number called,  same situation - hung up when answering machine answered. Call originated out of Acton, Massachusetts.

Got a call from 978-631-1157 on March 6, 2011 @4:44 pm. Dead silence like all the other calls that I've been getting for about two months now. I'm sick and tired of the hang ups, the calls asking for money, the surveys, etc.

The scammers are using local numbers now because everyone has stopped answering the toll free and unavailable numbers.

Donor Services Division - agency that collects money for charities - call the number and you'll get a recorded message

most annoying that this agency uses local numbers to scam people....if you're going to deceive with a local number, I have no confidence in your ability to actually give money to charity

Also, white pages reverse number look-up has it listed as "Unpublished".

no message left.  not the first time that number has shown up.  ID shows ACTON, MA
