@Antiscam -- Express Scripts is an online pharmacy, so of course, they are calling about a prescription renewal. Before they will just send out another shipment, they will ask for some basic information, usually an Rx number and a date of birth. Absolutely no scam here, it is part of my insurance plan and I have had no issues at all with them. Use some common sense before rushing to judgment and making wild accusations.

It is the ExpressScripts auto-reminder/prescription available number. It's just an automatic system calling.

I was getting ready to sue this company, but did not have the patience. For months, I have been receiving calls from them asking for one of 2 patients saying that the order is ready to be filled. It's annoying, and time consuming. I am a physician, and I can say that this can also be dangerous - since clearly, I am not the patient that they are trying to reach, and so the real person(s) may know nothing about this!
After emailing them through their website, and trying to reach them multiple times, I finally got through to them via 1-800-206-4005 (option 0). Still took almost an hour of my time... but I do hope I do not get any more calls from them!! WOW!

This is Express Scripts calling to remind of prescription medicine. Automated call
jackpak 2011-06-06 21:08:39 Unknown
Has called several times saying that they need me to call them back so I can fill out a prescription. Even if I was taking medication, I have the common sense to know when my medication is getting low and then call a pharmacy to have it refilled!
Allan 2011-06-06 21:08:39 Unknown
I called the 800 number above. They say 9787123588 is Express Scripts and to call them at 877-828-9744 and get your number removed.

There was a long pause after I said hello, I said hello again and an automated voice said, "thank you. what is your phone number?" I hung up immediately. Express scripts usually says, "hello this is express scripts..." and yes those phone calls are very annoying. I don't use the service anymore after they lost my order and double charged me.

Could you forward these complaints to 8004429300 Unicare? Express Scripts provides this service for them. Perhaps they can use their service to stop these irritating calls.

It is "Express Scripts", they don't have anything with prescriptions, they try to get sensitive information from you through the automated telephone system.
Mimi 2010-02-03 16:42:53 Unknown
Express Scripts automated calling device for prescription services. They have been calling me four to six times a month for five or more months. I have been promised they would remove my number from their automated system, but no luck so far. This is very annoying. It would seem in this day and age that this would be an easy fix. I am not nor have I ever been a client of theirs. The name the automatic system says the call is directed to is someone I have never heard of.
