A man by the name of "Sam Matthews" called me and left me a voicemail saying that I have a lawsuit against my social security number and that either I or my retained attorney needs to call him back as soon as possible. He then gave me a blessing and wished me luck if I didn't call back. Not knowing what this was, I called the number back and sure enough, "Sam Matthews" answered. His English is very broken, he sounds foreign. He began to tell me that I have a lawsuit, gave me a case #, and then told me his senior attorney, "Jimmy Walker," would be calling me back. Jimmy Walker then called me back and said he has a lawsuit against me and that I have criminal charges against my social security number. He read off my physical address, my phone number, where I work, my full social security number, and then told me I need to pay or I will be sent to the courts. I asked him who was pressing charges against me or who the creditor was, and he would not respond. While on the call, I Google'd the number and saw several complaints saying this is a scam, so I called him out, telling him he is fraudulent. As soon as I confronted him, he began moaning and making sexual noises. I then told him I will report him and not to call again and hung up. After this, he called me 6 times in a row, and I ignored all of those calls.

This guy called identifying himself as "Sam Matthews" from Global Law Office. He claims he has legal actions pending against my husband, and has been harassing him even at work. We don't know how the heck he got our number, or hubby's work number for that matter, but this is too much! I have told him off this morning because he called 3 times in a row. His Indian or Arabic accent is hard to understand, but I have a message saved from him on our answering machine. I have reported him to our Hawaii State Attorney Generals Office and am awaiting communication from them. I will also be making a police report because I think this guy is just phishing for personal information to commit identity theft. This guy is on my sh*tlist! I suggest that whoever gets calls from this guy report them to your state Attorney General too, and the police as well. We have to shut these criminals down once and for all! He has called from the following numbers: 979-212-7956, 917-775-5246, 276-880-7138, 707-666-9613

I received 3 calls from this number - they said they were Global Law Office in Columbus, TX, then another person came on he was Steve Samuels in NY at the Bureau of Crime Investigations, however, i could hear the first guy in the backgroung.

This is fraudelent - report it to the Attorney General in your state and tell them that you are reporting them to the Police for harrassment if they call again - try to get an address and name to complete reporting - give them no money.

I had a guy named Sam Matthews call me today saying that my name and ss# has been reported to the Bureau of Crime Investigation. The guy had a really heavy Indian accent. He eventually sent me to the Senior Attorney Craig Miller. They said that I was being sued for a $410 loan from Cash Advance USA. I have never taken out a loan with Cash Advance USA or any other loan company. He said that I was being charged with 3 offenses including misrepresentation, check fraud, and theft by deception. He stated that if I did not have the money to them within an hour that I will be arrested the following morning. I told him that I have never received any money from Cash Advance USA and I have proof by having my checking account documents. He then stated that it didn't matter if I had my checking account documents or not. Also, that the company would not be able to sue me if I did not actually take out a loan with them. I then told him that I would have my lawyer call him back (which I don't have one). I ended the phone call. Within an hour I had received 7 other phone calls from this same number, both on my cell and home numbers. I called my local police department after researching the Cash Advance USA company online and seeing all the reports of scams. The officer informed me that if the calls keep coming to tell them to contact the police department and not me and if they keep calling tell them that I will file a lawsuit against them for harassment. He said it is definitely a scam. Also, he warned me that the company has actually sent out a few people claiming to be officers, in plain clothes with a false badge, trying to arrest people! So, if people come to your house claiming to be an officer in plain clothes, call your local police department ASAP and ask them if they sent officers to your house. They can tell you if it's legit or not. It sure is scary for this type of situation. They have my ss#, full name, bank account information, address, etc.

Same as above.  Ths Yo-Yo has been calling me for a couple of weeks.  Last time told me that "two cops will be coming to your house and arresting you tomorrow"  What a joke.  But the scary thing is he has my SSN and address.  I ask him to mail me information on what he was talking about and he refused.  Then I ask him how stupid he thought I was to just give him bank information and pay whatever he wanted and he said "did anyone mention any money?"  So I ask him what he wanted.  All he had to say then was "have a blessed day" and hung up.  I too have had enough and am not one to just let it go.

This Guy Sam just called my job and he told my Supervisor that I was going to be arrested on Tuesday if I didnt give him 1500 and I asked him to send me the information and he hung up and I couldnt understand him,he keeps calling me,what can I do.

This oriental piece of trash who calls himself Sam Mathews needs to be punished.   He called me 2x on my cell phone & left a message basically stating that he has my last 4 digits of my soc., my address, name of my employer, names of two of my references.  He said if he did not hear from me he would send my file info to the local courthouse & police officers would be arresting me at my house & my references will be prosecuted.  Where is the world do these yo-yo's come from, really I swear these people have lost their damn mind!

Yes, that is the same name he gave me when he called me.   So I should file a report with the fcc....I am going to do that.  Thanks for the information!

He just called me and I work for the Federal Government on my government line. "Sam Matthews" cant even speak English the Law of Justice Department. They need to be stopped threatening at my office and home and calling the Sheriff Department my SS is in jepordary.

This man keeps calling me as well. Telling me my ssn # is under criminal investigation and that I need to hire an attorney. He also said Monday morning I will be arrested. This needs to stop, he calls several times a day. Now because of him I have to go up to Social Security, who knows what this guy is doing with our SSN#'s.

This guy called my work today and said he was from a bereau investigation and said that I took a loan out on line and that I was trying to run with the money then proceeded to tell me that he would be at my job in the morning to serve me with my court papers and that if I didn't wanna go to jail I betrer have a good attorney and then supposedly put me on the phone with there attorney if this is a scam this guy needs to be jailed so he will stop trying to ruin ppls lives as well as there familys

I have had threatening phone calls with this same person from the same phone number. He has threatened jail etc...My suggestion to everyone is to immediately contact the State Dept of Florida,
and the FCC with your complaint. Have all phone numbers and names available to provide as they
are keeping track. This number is located in Texas and the person goes by the name of Sam Matthews and Robbie Wilson.  Oriental accent.   FCC advises to hang up...they hopefully will move on, but they need to know and create a file on these thugs.  The more calls they get the  better.

This number is calling my cellular phone and my Job harassing me and my co-workers about me sending threats says he is from BCI, about a year ago same man or BCI threating my husband, he should be put in jail.

This fool from 979-212-7956 called and said that I had a criminal charge against my social security number. When I told him that if I were to give him information I needed him to prove who he was, he got agitated and said I could be arrested. I humg up on him and he called back. When I didn't answer (I love caller ID) he left a message saying that I was going to be arrested either at home (gave my address) or at work and taken away in handcuffs. This fellow had a very heavy Oriental accent.

Received call from this number, since I did not recognize it I let it go to voicemail.  Could not understand what they were saying the accent was so heavy.

this guy has been hounding me repeatedly, even when i have not answered once. it's been two days and he has called my number approximately twelve times. he has left two messages, claiming to be "david brown" from some clearly fake department. his accent resembles some dialect of indian or arabic, and it's difficult to even understand what he's attempting to convey. he's extremely annoying at this point, especially because of the fact that he has the wrong person entirely. he's looking for a "larry hicks" and i am certainly no man. i'm hoping he'll stop sooner than later.

I received a message from this "Jimmy Walker". It's an electronic message and sounds foreign. He stated that I had criminal charges pending. Yeah right. I'm a cop. I recently applied for a signature loan online, which is where I think this prick got my info (SSN). I will find him.
