caller 3 times 4th of july a pain in the as/////////,

I stayed on the line longer than I should have. when someone heavy indian accent told me to install a program called amy which gives them access to my computer I hung up.  grrr grr grr

Received call from 979-230-9479 foreign accent speaking individual who stated they were calling from Micosoft Corp. and were receiving multiple error messages from my computer....at this point I started calling them a LIAR - NO YOU AREN'T and hung up.
Then search their number through Google and they are scammers.

They said the same things, but when I said I had no computers, they said that the call was being registered and that the FBI would come, I was telling the person not to yell in the phone... guess I got him/her mad. So they hung up after. X

This number 979-230-9479 has called my home a total of 15 times today,and at least 5times each day. They never say anything, just hangs up, when you try and call back,they say the number is disconnected. I am an elderly person and have no time for these calls.  
Who can help me stop these calls.

Have called several times regarding my windows based OS was downloading malware every time I was on-line. I told them that I quit using windows and that I am running Ubuntu, they quickly hung up the phone.

I received a call from this 979-230-9479 number today.A man with a very heavy accent told me that I had a problem with Windows.He could barely speak English.I kept yelling "WHAT?" at him and he kept repeating Windows.I told him I was reporting him to the police and hung up.

You need to look up the word ignorant. You, like 90% of the population use the word ignorant ignorantly...

I called my state attorney general's office to complain about the same type of calls described here. They told me to call the FTC - Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357 which I did. I actually got to speak with a human being who took my complaint (you have to provide your name, address, phone and email) and directed me to their web site to read about these scams. Visit www.ftc.gov and enter "microsoft scam" in the search box. The more people who contact the FTC the more that will be done (we hope!)

A poor connection with a fellow with an Indian (not American Indian) accent claiming to be from Microsoft.  He insisted that someone was hacking into my computer whenever I went online.  I laughed at him and insisted that he was the criminal trying to gain access to my computer.  He seemed a bit befuddled. The guy was a sad, ignorant twit.  

At least I haven't been cursed out or threatened.

Showed on my caller ID as UNKNOWN NAME. I didn't answer, never answer these calls. I could have some fun with him, though. Mess around a bit, then let him know that MY computer is a MAC!

Just got a call from these jerks. Listened to their crap then hollered 'hey babe, you need to record this.'' They didn't give up. Told me they weren't frauds etc.etc. First guy ''Adam'' gave up on my questions and put his ''supervisor'' on the line. Now he was a real beauty. Swore he was legit. . . .until. . . .I told him my husband was an officer of the NC police in the fraud dept.. Holy moly, the ''supervisor'' couldn't hang up fast enough!! Hhahahaha, what a bunch of losing a-holes!!!!!

Just received call from Indian sounding guy too.  Same story.  He said I was a registered Microsoft User and my computer had a virus and there were hackers trying to get into my computer.  He wanted me to boot up my computer and I said "Ah, I don't think so" and I  hung up. I didn't tell him I was an Apple user.  That was none of his business!  Who is this guy anyway!

got the call today from them and soon as they said they were from microsoft i said hold on one moment so i can record for the police LOL thats when he started swearing and getting valger with me and a few other choice words before hanging up on me LOL

Claimed to be from Microsoft and said my computer was being hacked.

Got a call from this number didn't say anything so I knew it wasn't important, so know that was a scammer, if you don't know these callers or can identify their number do not answer, they are idiots trying to take your money and identity. And you could be paying for that call too, so do not answer ignore anything with an accent.

Getting calls from this stupid number.  I hate those freaking conners out of India and what not.  Always calling claiming to be from windows.  Its 2014... drone strike the losers.

Same as others.  Indian sounding woman.  Said my computer is infected.  Played along for a while then hung up.

Called 3 times in 2 hours. Answered 1st time; pause asked for person in home. Said they were not home. Paused again and then hung up. 2nd time didn't answer. 3rd time said they were from Microsoft and I had problems with my computer ( I hung up)

Guys sounded Indian.

They called me twice in one hour! I had company and didn't answer, as I didn't know the UNKNOWN CALLER! No message was left either time. Now, if they are Microsoft and calling about my computer, they're making a BIG MISTAKE! I have a Mac LOL!

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Same problem cal...I told them I didn't have a computer and he got really rude and told me not to lie to him when he was trying to help me. There has got to be a way to get rid of these people.

computer call. i get these twice a day usually btwn 930pm and 10pm. going on now for last two weeks. tonite  it was at 716pm  sure wish there was some way to hang these people.     RonK
