This number called, I did not answer, they did not leave any message.

call received at 7:49 p.m. on 5/27/14.   Caller Id:  ENERGY REPORT.    The call was intercepted by my Sentry Call Blocker
and will now be blocked.    

got robocall from 980-265-5518 caller ID said "ENERGY REPORT" on Thursday 05-15-14 @ 728 PM.

Answered on third ring and no one was there.

It is really late for these SCAMMERS to be up. Shouldn't mommy have put them to bed ???

Same message as reported by others. I noted the "indoor air quality". Indoor? They think I'm going to let them in my house?!!And then they're going to charge me big bucks to tell me the air in my house is full of cat hair?? Gee, I never noticed. "Indoor air"? C'mon, folks, you can do a better scam than that!

The DNC is working: it is a list for legitimate, law-abiding companies to check against. The legitimate, law-abiding companies then honor the list.  The calls we're getting are not coming from legitimate companies. They are coming from CROOKS. By definition, crooks don't abide by laws. If you get a call from someone purporting to be a business, all you need to know is that they're ignoring the DNC, which means they're CROOKS. Don't pick up, or if you did pick up, just  hang up.

It's silly to complain about a law not stopping crooks from breaking it. By definition, crooks are law breakers. And these crooks are hard to locate and shut down, especially since most of them are overseas and using fake Caller ID details to trick you into answering your phone. Most of these crooked operations are based in foreign countries. As fast as one gets shut down, three more pop up.

Expecting criminals to honor the DNC as silly as expecting a burglar to honor a "Keep Out" sign on your door.

Well they're back at it but in this case not leaving a message.  I report these things when a legitimate business name is involved and I can block these numbers but they "morph" into new numbers just as fast.  A pick up and slam down usually does the trick for the moment.  Just don't fall for it and give them any information!.  DNC is totally ineffective, if anything it has been de-regulated by lobbyists and our so called congress for the "telemarketing" business--something about if you have done business with any business they are "affiliated" with they have the right to call you--so there goes our right to privacy.  Businesses, including your bank, have the right to sell your name and tel# over and over to anyone they can get a buck out of--this has been going on for over 30 years.

Caller ID says "Energy Report" so its obviously a scammer.

I don't answer scammers, so just hung up on them.

Energy Report = Up to $500 federal money to reduce energy costs.  Get $1k rebate for homeowners.  More scam - they never give up.  Suspect the calls today are all from the same scam call center using whatever they have to trick us into answering.

Obviously trying to sell something with an appointment to test our "Indoor air quality" Call display shows AIR REPORT. recorded message begins with something sbout a public service announcement (misrepresentation!) How annoying, and we, too, are on the do not call list.  What's the point?

Same message here, "indoor air pollutants becoming an increasing problem in your area...Testing in your area in next two weeks... Press 1 for free testing for indoor air pollutants in your home
Or something like that.

Left a message about "clean air quality"...and air quality warnings in my area...riiiiight.....

Call ID gives the number and says N. Carolina call. Didn't leave message. What good is the DNC list if they still keep calling?

Said it was information for Excel customers and then started talking about energy savings and government rebates, all together totaling one thousand dollars. I am on DNC registry.  Call should not have been placed to my number.

I got the same msg, last half...just as you said....our number too is on the registry!!!!

Recording.  Left voice mail but only got last part of message.  Something about saving on my energy bills.  I am on the no-call list.  Caller ID says Unknown Name. I don't deal with companies too ashamed to identify themselves.
