Called me at 9.00AM on Monday. After reading all the comments I decided I was going to play with them. I waited through the automated message and then lied and told the representative that I needed her to stay on the phone as I was an agent for the FTC and was in the process of tracing the call. I think I got halfway through the word tracing before the call was disconnected. No phone calls from them since.

So annoying! This # calls me 2-3 times a day. Never got a response, finally waited a while on the line and got a recorded message talking about a cruise. Whoever it is, it's not really Carnival. They wouldn't harass people like that. It's a scam. Hang up & report it to the FCC.

Same here...received the call two times today but no voice message. How in the world they get our numbers in first place?

called me, fortunately I have a special way of ignoring these Spammer type calls, and simply ignored it and added it to my ignore contacts list as a 'igonore this number'. So in future calls I know its a spammer......

Received two calls to my cell phone. When I returned the call, it was answered by an automated system saying it was Carribean Cruise Lines. I hung up at that point.

Called me 6 times today. Hung up when answered. Obnoxious is right! Auto reject!

This number has called me about 10 times today. I finally answered and they just hung up on me. They never left me a message. Obnoxious scammers.

Caribbean Cruise Lines (never heard of this one)... this is the 5th call in 3 days.  Reporting as harassing to Verizon, may follow up with Telco if I can find who services it.  Have repeatedly said no... and hung up the last few times.

But I don't want to go on a cruise!

Thank you, Telemarketers, for calling me on the West Coast and making sure I was awake at 6am. So kind and generous of you.

An automated computer lady asked me if I wanted a free Carnival cruise and such.  I answered "yes" to all.  Then, the computer lady connected me to a real lady reading a script about how all-inclusive it will be, and how there was even a six-hundred and something dollar rebate on top of everything free.  

After several minutes of her going on about how I should imagine myself in the Bahamas, she said she just needed my credit card number to charge a port tax of over $100.  When I questioned that, she went on about how people use credit cards over the phone all the time.  I noted that in those situations I'd be the one initiating the call and transaction.  She assured me they were recording everything for my security, but I pressed again that I was receiving a cold call from a stranger asking for my credit card and other personal information.  So, she put the phone down and brought over a man to talk to me.  

The man spoke sort of like "The Situation" from Jersey Shore, except that I could almost hear his pleated slacks and tassel shoes fighting with his gold chain and hair gel over the affection of his Axe cologne's best friend's cousin.  He told me the charge to my credit card was an assurance from me of my commitment to them that I would not back out of the agreement.  

I asked in a friendly manner, "Do you really have a problem with people backing out of a FREE Carnival cruise?  It's not like pulling teeth to get someone to take a FREE cruise, is it?"

He snapped at me like a Soprano wannabe, "Well we're certainly having trouble trying to get you to commit now, aren't we?!"  

So, I just hung up.  

called 4 times today: at 11 am, 1:20 pm, 2 pm, 2:40 pm, left no messages

This number called 5 times and hung up without saying anything! 6th phone call I answered "WHO ARE YOU!!" then the automated female voice started talking about the free cruise offer that Tim previously mentioned. I was connected to a real person who explained what they are offering. When I asked about all the hang-up phone calls I received he just replied "so you are not interested in the free cruise, correct?" "you want to be removed from our list, correct?" he repeated this without wanting to answer my question, beware they are asking for a valid credit card which seems like a red flag to me.

I also got this call about an hour ago (Dec. 13) and did speak with someone.Long story short it is a solicitation from a company called "Caribbean Cruise".  They wanted to give me a "Free" cruise in return for word-of-mouth advertisement. When I told her nothing is free, and asked for more details or a website to research, she said thanks and have a good day.

Telemarketer. I called back. It said it's with caribbean cruise line.

Just got a call  from here too.
