Charlotte, NC Birth Control Federation of America (later became Planned Parenthood Federation of America) They are acting as a fund raiser for the Democratic Party seeking money to re-elect Kay Hagan. Part of the money goes to the Kay Hagan campaign, part goes to fund abortions (and maintain their non-profit status), and most to overhead (their own pockets).  PROBABLE ID THEFT / MEDICAID FRAUD

I got a call from this number, and it wasn't even a real person! Artificial Intelligence! Per recorded responses to simple questions "what's your middle name?" "What's today's date?" (She answered) "what was yesterday's date?" "Sorry I'm in training, I'm not allowed to answer things off script"

just got a call from 980-265-5686  @ 8:45 am this morning. And they call every day !! Every single day!! Asked if "James" is there today...no James here. My # is on the Do-Not-Call-Registry, but that is nothing but a joke...

how about 8:15 am on a Saturday after my husband told them the other night we are on a do not call list !

I have charter bundle of TV/Internet/Phone. I don't even.know our phone number and have never had a phone plugged in. Every so often a phone number will pop up on my TV screen. I just got one from 980-265-5686. Its nice to know I couldn't answer if I wanted to lol.

Got a call from this number and various similar callers that don't leave a message!  How do I STOP these calls?

called 8:00 Saturday morning, asking for the lady of the house.  Said the words 'breast cancer' and I hung up the phone.  Caller ID said Charlotte NC

When I call back using number block of course, I get a message 'this number is no longer in service at this time"

just got a call from 980-265-5686  @ 9:56 am this morn. first ask for my daughter, then lady of the house, then someone named Alvin, then someone named Edward. Only came up as cell phone. 980 is a legit area code in NC. and my # is on the Do-Not-Call-Registry, but that is nothing but a joke...

Caller  said BC FIN ASSIT,  didn't answer.

Phone-based crooks are always on the lookout for a new way to take your money. In their latest scam, they use computers to place calls to thousands of phones, including to numbers in North Carolina. After your phone rings one time, the computer ends the call but your phone captures the number of that incoming ?missed? call.
Even though the number is unfamiliar, some people call back to see who called them. However, calling the number may connect you to an adult entertainment line overseas and trigger charges of $19.95 plus $9 for each minute of the call. These calls usually come from area codes in the Caribbean including 473, 809, 284, 649, or 876.
Remember, if the call you missed was legitimate and important, the caller would have left you a voicemail message or will call you back.
To protect yourself from the one-ring scam:
?    Don?t automatically return calls from numbers or area codes you don?t recognize.
?    If you don?t know the number but think the call may be legitimate, check it out by typing the number into an online search engine.  You can also search the area code to see if it?s an overseas call.
?    To avoid accidentally calling the number and falling victim to a scam, delete it from your phone.
?    Check your cell phone bill carefully, and if you get billed for one of these calls report it to your cell phone carrier.
?    If you believe that you?ve been scammed or if you have trouble getting the charges removed from your bill, report it to the Attorney General?s Consumer Protection Division by calling 1-877-5-NO-SCAM or file a complaint at www.ncdoj.gov.

They called and asked repeatedly, "Is ________ there?"  and each time the name is someone in my family.  I don't even live in the same state as these family members!!

They called and hung up.  Blocked em.

I am receiving numerous calls every day from this number, despite being on the Do Not Call List. Caller never leaves message, just calls back later. I am going to report the number to the FCC as a nuisance caller violating my Do Not Call Status.

They call me all the time using my grandmother's name which is in the phone book.  I am on the do not call list.  As soon as I challenged them, they hung up on me!

This number, 980-265-5616 and 980-265-5686 have Been calling my house sometimes EIGHT TIMES A DAY!!!  RIDICULOUS!!!

This number is for Breast Cancer Research, calling I assume for donations.
