A missed call from 204-283-7694.  Have seen it in the past.  Told them to remove my number from their system.  It has not been done.

I had been getting two or three calls a day from various criminals (some who seemed to be based in India trying the computer virus scam and others telling me I could get better bank interest rates). So I picked up the phone and let loose with a stream of cursing and ranting that would make a sailor blush. I did the same thing to each of the callers for a whole day.

Guess what? After weeks of calling me, they stopped calling. They must have guessed that someone who sounded like an escapee from an asylum was not likely to buy into the scam (and they would be right on that). That gave me a short respite from these vermin - until today when they called from "credit card services" - yeah right, My last notice (I think not) and all to help my finances (phooey). I had to be polite today (company present) otherwise they would have got the same treatment.

If you think of it, being too polite signals these criminals that you might be easily manipulated. So instead vent all of your frustrations on them, try to be a rude as possible (after all they are rude) and see if they don't go away.

Card holder Services....I mean, is there anyone in North America who isn't on to this one? Okay, so the baby born yesterday. But is there any adult who would still fall for this criminal (lack of) enterprise?

Just a call dead line - just a scam. I'm with Shaw digital phone so will just block the number. I just love doing that!

Using VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), the caller can "spoof" any telephone-number and caller ID.

So, it's most-likely that Lindsay's telephone number *UNLUCKILY* matches the "random" telephone-number that the scammer is using.

Yes, I got a call to my DO-NOT-CALL land-line, in B.C., this morning.  

My voice-mail recorded about 10 seconds of silence.

Stop Calling We know this is a scam - I will keep reporting this number until you are caught

Called by this number yesterday. Very broken east indian male voice (difficult to understand) stating something about our Fortis (electrical) bill being too high and that we overpaid yada-yada-yada.
He did have our correct address....!!
I finally hung up on him.

Some kind of credit card scammer

Called me today. A female voice saying they tried calling me several times (but I'm sure this is the 1st time) and this is the last chance to lower my credit card interest rate, blah...then ask me to press "1" to talk to them. Sounds like a telemarketer num.

Reverse look-up on 411.ca produced the name Lindsay Yakielashek, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B. Don't know this person, but it was a recording on the line. 'Card member services calling about some last chance b.s.' Hung up before the rest of it. Obviously a scammer.

called today and left message that was very broken up but I caught words about "your final notice". Interesting is that I received a call from another 204 # that was a collection agency that when I dug a bit deeper the guy says they have a file they just received from Telus saying I owed them $1137.00. I called Telus and the account # the guy gave me was bogus and they checked all of their different departments and I don't owe them anything...

Picked up and got Dead Air - guess there wasn't a scammer available to take my call.

Receive this call almost everyday! I started picking up and then there's dead air until you say Hello, then a click to the person. So it's a machine dialing numbers.

I get these all the time, just got another from this number. Load of B.S. of course but thought I would press #1 to speak to a "friendly customer service rep"....waited..........was ready to tell them to F off but the phone went "click" and dead.  Telling me they have sent me several mail notifications?? what a bunch of crap.......NEVER. Its all a scam, we all know it, when is our government going to do something and stop this s***?

I received many unwanted call from 1-204-283-7694 for soliciting improving loan interest rate.  I simply not to answer it and she left messages and warning of time limit and deadline...DO NOT ANSWER IT...

Rude threats that this is your LAST chance to lower your interest rates. What if we
NEVER pay interest on anything we owe?????Do they give a bonus for AAAAAA
credit rating. Just wondering.

I keep getting calls from this number, they never leave a message!  I am in British Columbia.
