caller id: "N CAROLINA CALL"

Caller asked for my husband.  Told that he's not in.
Caller: "Oh, no matter, we wanted to speak with either of you."  "You all are harder to catch up with then the last pickle in the pickle jar"!  Really???  When asked the purpose of the call, the caller said forget it and hung up.  

Conclusion: Probably could guess I would not be a push over for her BS!!
I believe an unknown caller that phones your home, on your private line on a Sunday evening (1) should identify who they are and the reason(s) for the call, (2) address us as Mr. & Mrs. until told to do otherwise, and (3) NOT act as if you are a member of my immediate family.  REALLY!!

Didn't answer, left no message.  

Same caller number from a month or so ago!  Told them then to quit calling.  They obviously don't care as they are calling again!  When I answered they immediately hung up!  The caller number is now in my blocked calls file.

keep getting calls, three times a day, don't leave messages and when call back their voice mail full.

yes they call early in mornings and late at night, 8 time in three days over last week-end and i had company.

Called at 8:30 AM today; asked for me by name.  The children's cancer thing.  Now Blocked.

Still NC's turn.  Got a call promptly at 8:30AM today from Children's Cancer scammer.  THEY ASKED FOR ME BY NAME!  Creepy.  
Readout said "Cell Phone NC".  My telephone (not from my telephone company) has a call block feature and now they are on it!

LET CALL GO TO MY ANSWERING MACHINE TO SEE IF A PERSON CAME ON THE LINE.  AFTER MACHINE GREETING SILENCE FOR ABOUT 15 SECONDS AND THEY HUNG UP!  SCAM OR TELEMARKETER.  IF CHARITY THEY SHOULD HAVE LEFT MESSAGE!  BLOCKED FUTURE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

Getting calls early morning when I am trying to sleep.  They keep calling me and will not stop.  it is rude to wake some one up that way.

Calling from Charlotte, NC.  Claim to be Children's Cancer Recovery. Sometimes they claim to be from Breast Cancer Fund. This is a group supposedly funding and promoting abortion.  
Has a very nice office in Charlotte.  Switched to cellphones a couple of years ago.

I keep getting calls from this company or person nonstop.  I hated very much and very annoying

Children's cancer fundraiser..asked them how funds were distributed and they said 85% administrative and 15% to cancer research... I told them that was pathetic % and to take me off their list

It's a scam ( sort of ). A generic message asking you to donate ( and not taking no for an answer) to Women's Breast Cancer Support, Children's Cancer Recovery, Families of Fallen Firefighters...the list goes on. If you donate the only ones who will benefit are the "Charity" organizers. It's the same woman's voice for every charity. They couldn't even spend a little extra on more then 1 voice actress to help hide their blatant lies.

calls leave no message

Caller ID is Childrens Cance. A CELLPHONE. Charlotte, NC.  Called before 0800.  This is  Democratic / NAACP group supposedly funding and promoting abortion.  Has a very nice office in Charlotte.  Switched to cellphones a couple of years ago.  Doubt any money is spent for cancer prevention unless you count a few dollars a year to planned parenthood. PROBABLE ID THEFT/MEDICAID FRAUD

Got a call from them 1-23-14 at 8:20 am....did not answer,,,,thanks kim for info...will use that next time they call...i will answer and tell them what i think of them....to use a childs illness to get money,  really????? paybacks are not pleasant you stupid scammers....

Called and asked for my husband by his first name.  On a Sunday night yet!  Probably figured people would be home at 7:30 in the evening.  Asking for donations for children with cancer.  How dumb do these people think we are?  Are these people for real?  If they would go about asking for money the right way perhaps more people would donate.

Got a call from this number, I picked it up and said nothing. Nobody talked back, so I guess it was a machine waiting for someone to say HELLO to then tell me a message. I hanged up.

Left message "Is (my first name) there?" from a computer sounding voice that I have heard many times before.  They left no message.  I blocked them.
