Called this # back and man answered Client Services how can I help you? Not sure.

i have been getting this same number calling me like crazy and it calls late at night and early in the morrning and befor he gets a chance to start i tell the person im not interrested and to stop calling butt if u guys find out anymore about this please post it so i can read and understand im getting ready to deploy again and im just makeing sure that this is not some crazy person calling me well thanks guys

HAS CALLED MY HOUSE TWICE TODAY 8-8-09 WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO IT IS THANK YOU DID NOT LEAVE MESSAGE ON PHONE SHOWED OUT OF AREA ON PHONE PICKED IT UP NO ONE SAID ANY THING,

I got a call from this number and was disturbed by the call.   I traced this number, which cost me a fee.  It is the "Nation's Finest Funding Raising for Children and Police Institutes".  I only got a message that told me who they are and that they had tried to contact me earlier.  Said to leave my number and they will call me back.  They may not want to call me back because I was so angry with the man who had initially called.  He was very rude and PUSHY!!!  Never asked if I was busy---just jumped in on his speech.  When I told him I could not afford to give right now but I did appreciate him calling he went on and on and on.  I finally YELLED and told him "did you not hear me".  He hung up.  He could have at least been courteous  to my response of appreciation for his call.  After all, HE interrupted my morning and he was the hateful one in this situation.  Give to organizations you know, not "programmed"  people who call and push themselves on you.  Somehow, it is evident companies like this get past the do not call list.

I have been getting called every day at 8:30 am - very annoying - no message.  From reading below it looks like it is police solititation.

fake police officer fund -- do research -- 99% of what they get goes to there own company, and its reps.  They also try to act as if they are the law.

Called but did not answer when I said hello.  Most annoying.

Yes, they know your name because he asked for the name that is in the white-pages... but just ask for me.. and when i answer just hung up....

Call is from a telemarketer "raising money" for the "fraternal Order of..."  The ... can be filled in with Police, Firemen, or other patriotic, charitable, or civic group in your area.  The number is from North Carolina in the Charlotte area  and is a boiler-room operation. They don't give much inforation at all.

I catch the call when I call it back it answering machine said it was a fund raising thing for children and then said more information press 1 I did nothing happen. How do they get our phone numbers:

they just called from this same number, caller knew my name but i said they had the wrong number, he said sorry and hung up. I dont know, they have called many many times, i have never answerd cause no caller id identification.

This number called for my boyfriend today and when finding out he was not here all they said was, OK, I understand, then hung up. Tried to call back but this number would not even ring. Tried twice. If it is the FOP they are wasting their time calling us. We're broke.

My caller ID just said North Carolina, my wife answered it and it was a solicitor from The Faternal Order Of Police.

I have also received several calls from this same number.   All I know is the recorded message mentions something about the Police.  I hang up but I see from these other threads I'm not alone.  Very irritating...

Called today 9/20/10 @ 5:15 pm.  Caller ID says Charlotte, NC, i live in VA. Machine picked up, but no message was left.

If this is the faternal order of police. I have heard they only use 10% of the donation to cause. Wonder where the other 90% goes?

Keep getting calls from this number

I see that I am not alone in these irritating calls.Hope there is someway to stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Always 980-939-7534 Caller ID--So far 15 times calling with no message or answer.

got a call at 345 on 11/29  got answeringmaching left no msg . im in nc also

This caller is a complete pest.  I have received 20/30 calls from this number.
Answered the last one and did not give "him" a chance to explain.  Just hung up.  This is indeed harassment.

Repeated calls from this number.  No caller name on ID, only phone number, so did not answer.  Finally, after calling and waking us this a.m., we answered, only to be greeted by silence.  This caller is, indeed, a nuisance caller.

I have received numerous calls from this number I agree the caller(s) are pests.  Don't know who belongs to this number but they need to stop calling me.  I am on the do not call list.

this number (980) 939-7534 called today (01-04-10) @ 10:05 am and asked for someone named Ms. Graham (no one here by that name).

I m in NC and just called the number and got a recorder message stating" "I am sorry that's not a valid extension, please try your call again"

Solicitation from the Fraternal Order of Police of North Carolina

Supposedly from Fraternal Order of Police soliciting support. When told we support other religious charities and could not afford to take on more, wanted to send info for smaller donation. Again told him no, and finally I had to hang up as he refused to take "no" for an answer. Wasn't rude or out of line, just pushy and wanted the support.

The headquarters for National Fraternal Order of Police contact number for the
Executive Officer is pyors@fop.net   That office should be able to verify for you
if an outfit in Charlotte, North Carolina is opereating to solicit funds for the Fraternal
Order of Police.

If you find that no such organization exits there, please report the activity to the Chief
of Police in Charlotte, N. C.  (You might wish to go online to locate his
contact address.)  This group should be stopped if they are not a legitimate
organization.

called did not leave message called 9am this morning
