I just got a call and they said the same thing, first he said that I just downloaded something that caused a virus on my computer, when I told him no one was even using the computer he changed the story and said it happened two weeks ago. I laughed and said OK, my husband will take care of it when he gets home, he was very adamant, almost yelling into the phone that my computer was going to crash and die, I told him if it does I'll get another one, no big deal. He hung up on me after that.

I have rec'd NUMEROUS calls from this number - on Saturday I actually picked up the phone. The person on the other end spoke horrible *english* - saying she was from Windows technical support - NOT MICROSOFT, but WINDOWS (1st red flag) Telling me there was some hacking going on in my computer and wanted me to download something (2nd red flag) - As this person was telling me what to type in on my RUN command prompt, I was typing it in the google bar and of course it came up as a scam. I called her out on this but she was persistent. She finally hung up after I let her know the FBI was now on the call with us to help us figure out what the problem was.
