This person just triied to scam me. Thankfully we have sites likes this to help protect each other. THANKS!!

This guy just tried scamming me today for my boat..

this is a scam listened to voicemail 985-236-9575 said it is a kevin mason they hung up on me did agian and some foreigner answered and i let him have it a***ole

This creep keeps sending me text messages about a Scooter I have for sale on Craigslist. Its a scam and I know it but I'd like them to stop texting me.

I received a text message as well. SCAM!!!!!

This guy said the same thing. Send him $700 through western union after he deposists the funds into my account. He is also using robertkennedy008@yahoo.com for an email address. BEWARE! FRAUD!

He called me last night with the same thing pay my pick up agent western union and then the funds for the truck will be released. He found us thru craigslist also. I called the police dept where he said to send checks and notified them plus already got a call back from pay pal fraud we sent in. Would like to kick his a** if I could get my hands on these lazy rip off b*****ds.+

I just had the same thing happened as I too am selling things on Craig's List. I always trust people but the guy wouldn't give me a mailing address. Humm, I was just looking for the address, which is when I found all these records. I just called the number which is a message for a Kevin Mason. He asked the favor of me to pay the pick up person in advanced as the movers want payment. He requested $700. and the person working the phone promises payment through PayPal. I was contacted on messaging. The number I was contacted and attempted scammer is 985-236-9585. I've found the reporting here is true. These people telling the truth. It was nice to know the messenger would be asking for money and using the pickup man idea to rip me off. I got the name from simply calling the number.

same thing happened to us tonight, he was trying to buy something off craigslist from us.

I just got a text message from this person 985-236-9575 wanting to buy my Steinway piano for $17,000 saying that he did not need to be here or even see it, he trust me, and he has a "mover" that will come get it and he'll pay via PayPal.  

If you don't know this, paying via PayPal is used by scammers.  You think you got paid, you let them (or someone) right into your home, they take the item then you find out the money isn't there.

I checked with the police on a similar situation and they told me that these are cell phones and they could be using to call from anywhere in the country.  Cops won't fool with it because they are out of state and if they manage to locate, you have to be willing to travel to their state on your time and your dime to testify.  Judges know you won't do that so they don't even bother.

Be aware of anyone who wants to give you your paypal email although the email address itself is useless many time they will try to tell you that there shipping agent will pick it up and then then they will try and charge you for a pick up fee. beware of anything especially on craigslist where they say a pick up agent will come get the item.  only deal on craigslist in person and with cash unless you have personally met them.

the same guy texted me from the 985-236-9575 number and wanted my paypal information.  Theses guys were clearly trying to scam me for money.

This guy text me from 1-720-515-8722 about a race car I have for sale said he put the money in my paypal acct I get a e-mail from paypal saying if I wanted my money I had to send $800.00 by western union to this guy for pick up fee lol I call paypal and they said no money was in my acct  thin he calledcme from 1-985-236-9575 they our together on this do not sale anything to these two numbers.you will loss your money.
