I received a text saying:

member@keypointcu.com / ALERT / Your KEYPOINT CREDIT UNION account is closed due yo renewal,call us now at 9852414747.

I've never had an account with this institution.  I didn't call back, but in light of the first post above, it's probably a phishing scam.

I put in 1-0 numbers just to see what it said (i made sure to put unknown caller id first) and it was interesting. I really, really hate that people do this. This is the second attempt to scam me by random means in the last month (a few days ago someone wanted me to help them get money into their bank account from france...)
They asked for address, soc, acct number, credit number including that code on back.

Its just sad that people still go for it.

I got the same text message.  It's absolutely a scam.  Don't EVER give your information to anyone over the internet or the phone.  If your bank ever needed that kind of info, they'd get it from you in person, AT THE BANK.

Got the same thing as everyone above but didn't return the call.

text message saying the same info as above. All three of the tmobile cell phones in the house recived the message at the same time.

I got the same message, except it says my keypoint credit union account was closed. I don't know how they got my number, this could be trouble. And how did they get an id like 3750?

This is definately a scam....I knew it becuase my bank does not even have my cell number, especially since I had a different cell number when I opened the account.....so there is NO WAY this is real.  NO bank would ask you for a credit card number.  They aready have your debit card number, so don't let these scam artists losers and filth of the earth take your hard earned money.

I had called them back and it was a recording of some woman asking me for 3 pieces of my info, including my SS#, Credit card/Debit #, and my DOB.

I'm not too sure what to make of this, but I am most def. certain it is a phishing scam.  I am very pissed off that, not only is this a new cell number of mine, but that I don't appreciate things like this happening to INNOCENT people.
