Purchased word online from Microsoft in the morning got a call this afternoon that there was a problem and would send a refund.  Then called about an hour later, same person and said I could get a deal on some item differently let them finish and told them I was not interested and hung up.  Never gave my home number when purchase was made as it was through work.  Man had an accent like that from India.  Go back to India and leave us alone!

Caller left a message--just a bunch of gibberish.

Well known computer scam from India stating your computer has a virus and they are there to remove it and want access to your computer through a remote connection. They claim to be windows technician experts.  If you allow this they will INFECT your comptuer so that you really do have a virus and then they will call back later and ask for money to remove the virus stating they didn't get all of it on their first attempt.  CRIMINALS....AVOID...

Male with Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to refund $250 from a prior service but needed my credit card information. No way!!!!!

Lady with heavy india accent claimed to be from Microsoft, wanted to know if I bought a computer in the last 3 months, said yes.  Claimed they got suspcious patterns of use from my computer and wanted access to it.  I was so suspicious that the lady hung up in frustration.  Phone caller ID said the caller name was unavailable.

Microsoft never initiates the 1st call.

claims they're from Microsoft and I have I virus on a computer but couldn't identify which computer as I have multipal as I am a computer tech.

This number has called four times in the past week.  Considering no message was left the first time, they were blocked. Today twice within five minutes; I know as my call blocker allows me to see who is calling without the call coming through.
