The following is a message I sent to Dish Network and also entered as a formal complaint on the BBB under complaint ID 9794298.

This needs to get to someone with authority to investigate and remedy the problem of a Dish Authorized retailer who is practicing un-ethical procedures that needs to have their accreditation through Dish revoked immediately. The following company is authorized by Dish Network there-by representing Dish Network in an unprofessional manner. There is no shortage of complaints filed through the Better Business Bureau with this company which now has an ?F? rating as a result, yet they are still a licensed, authorized retailer for Dish Network. This speaks tremendous volumes for the way Dish Network chooses to operate their business by continually allowing unscrupulous authorized retailers of them to target their own customers.

On the evening of 11-5-13 I was cold-called by Christina (989-865-0503) from Future Vision Enterprises Inc 3215 Christy Way, Saginaw, MI 48603 about upgrading my equipment and reducing my Dish Network bill. Typically I simply hang up on such calls but this was related to a service that I have been a customer of for 10 or 13 years and they had all of my pertinent information on hand which only would be the case with an authorized retailer. Christina stated that she would look into reducing my monthly bill from Dish Network, and would get me an equipment upgrade to a DVR, and HD programming for a one-time fee of $31.XX. She also stated several times that there would be no additional monthly ?rental fee? tacked on for the DVR receiver after my repeated questioning. She said that she would have to speak with her Supervisor to clear the reduction in my monthly bill and she would call me back. She did call me back and said that she was able to reduce my monthly bill by $30/month. She also now changed her answer to not being a monthly rental fee because I had ?such outdated equipment? I would have to pay a $7/month rental on the DVR. This in addition to the reduced monthly payment still came out to a $23/month savings for me so that wasn?t an issue. We proceeded with the conversation until she said that she needed my credit card #. To this I explained I was not going to do that over the phone. Christina then developed a snotty attitude because she had ?spent so much time? trying to get this deal to go through and then she tried pushing me onto her Supervisor so I would feel more comfortable giving out my credit card #.  I stated that was not going to work for me, then I was put on hold for her to come back on to tell me that I can just have the credit card verified by the technician when he comes to install the hardware. I once again questioned why I should need to provide this since Dish Network already has it on file and received a response of; it?s just so you don? t take off with our equipment. We then decided BEFORE someone called me the FOLLOWING day to verify the set-up time/date that I would need to investigate the company to make sure she was ACTUALLY calling from where she claimed and all was legit. Once again she insisted that I speak to her Supervisor; Brad McKenzie (888-281-8383 extension 108). I told her I would investigate it and get back with her the next day, 11-6-13. Very shortly after that call ended I received ANOTHER call (same evening) from a different individual stating they were from ?The Dish Company? calling to confirm my set-up date/time, even though I had clearly stated I was not going to do anything until I verified the company.

The next day (11-6-13) during business hours I called and verified the business was "legit" so in the evening I called back and left a voicemail with Brad McKenzie stating that I was trying to get ahold of Christina in regards to moving forward with the upgrade. Christina promptly called me back and then it was simply a matter of waiting for the confirmation call to set-up the scheduling for installation where I would also have the tech verify my credit card. Christina?s Supervisor; Brad McKenzie then called me for verification which was recorded. During this time it came out that there was a 2 year contract obligation which had NOT been mentioned once during the "sales pitch". While put on the spot it seemed ok; however after getting off the phone I realized that I have happily been with Dish for 10-13 years WITHOUT a contract and I wasn't going to enter one now on their behalf. I called Brad back to tell him that I was not going to enter into a contract and the deal was to be over. Brad then tried selling me by stating he could get me this and that, and how much better it is to have them as my Dish representative along with all of his other sales tactics. I simply replied that all of this hasn?t been an issue dealing with Dish Network directly on my own for all these years and I?m done with them (Future Vision Enterprises Inc.) This seemed to be the end of 2 evenings wasted with an external Dish retailer. That was until I got an email from Dish telling me that a payment of 167.96 had been authorized from my account! THIS WAS NOT AUTHORIZED by myself, nor my wife, nor was it an accidental authorization. Coincidentally this was authorized at 17:20 Mountain time, shortly after my conversation with Brad McKenzie at Future Vision to cancel my acceptance to have upgraded equipment installed there-by entering a 2 year contract. This was NOT a coincidence that "someone" used MY information to authorize a payment from MY account through the automated system. This was an upset Supervisor who felt he could get away, or back at me for cancelling on his services. This business, or this individual needs to be investigated in depth, and terminated for this un-acceptable behavior. Think about it; $167.96 being drawn from MY account without my say-so!

Firstly, this needs to be refunded immediately; secondly, someone with the authorization to handle such a situation needs to CALL me at 989-xxx-xxx.

I have spoken with my telephone company in regards to obtaining my phone records to provide proof of the time-frame of my last discussion with Brad McKenzie of Future Vision Enterprises Inc, and when this unauthorized payment posted to show without a doubt what kind of unscrupulous, unprofessional, unlawful acts are being committed by this company and its employees.  The phone company however stated that it requires legal documentation to get such records immediately (which I will press if need be) but I can just wait for my phone bill to show them.

Please revoke your authorization of Future Vision Enterprises Inc of Saginaw, MI as one of your authorized retailers!

Some nut case called from this number and left voice mail saying he was from some Gay Alliance and we had requested info from them.  I had the number recorded on caller ID so Googled it to see what it was.  It looks like this bunch does various scamming or harassment.

Come to find out the number belongs to some sort of kiddy porn ring... go figure?

We got a call from from Saginaw, MI  Number: 989 596 2499, i picked up the phone and they were gone. i googled the number thanks to caller id, and i found this site. i researched and it is a scam credit card number.

Said they were from the State of Michigan. They wanted to know if I was "digital". I inquired about how they received my number. "Jessica" proceeded to ask if I had a credit card. I told her no and I wouldn't be giving her my credit card number. She spoke like she was from the ghetto and got a 'tude with me about my credit card comment. She then hung up on me when I told her to take me off the list of people to call.

I called the number back thanks to caller ID. I tried to talk to a supervisor and got a voice mail. It was for futurevision. I told the supervisor I'd be reporting her company if I received another call and I wanted to be taken off her list.

This caller called initially saying he was selling Dishnetwork bundles. After talking to him for awhile it started to sound suspicious.  He took my address and told me he would do some checking and call back with the local rates in my area.  I subsequently got more than 5 calls from this same number either breathing heavily or singing "I'm a girl watcher" on my answering machine.  Then he called me on my cell phone, asked about my credit, and wanted my Social Security number so he could set me up with Dishnetwork service.

Call my house and talking about are there any grown up at ur home told him naw and then he was like how old r u i said i don't know then he said do got a myspace said yea and he said do u got a mocapage i said no then he gave me his email....i did not write it down and then he said whut u name i said candy {it really was not} and hang up..........i do not know this dude and call my house with music in the back ground

Called my cell phone in the afternoon. Guy said: Hi how are you doing?  I asked who is calling.  He said, Steve, how are you.  I said you have the wrong number. He said no I don't, I'm calling for you.  I said, i don't know any steve, who are you? He said he's from futurevision, and asked what kind of tv service i had.  I told him I to remove me from the list, i'm not taking any telemarketing calls. He hung up without a word.

They called my work number. Didn't leave a message, just heard a few people talking in the background. This was on October 6, 2008.

Just got a call from this number. They left no message. I do know people with this area code so I wanted to find out why this number keeps calling and found this information.

Called to sell Dish Network. The guy works for Future Vision in Saginaw MI. Dont deal with this bunch loosers. They will say anything to sell you then TRY to rip you off. They say they will sue you. PLEASE REPORT TO fCC. I did.

Called the morning and evening of Jan 15, 2008.  Inquired about the quality of my cable tv and what kind of tv.  Very unprofessional communication.  Two distinct male voices on both calls.  Fakin' da ghetto.  Area code indicates central to central-Eastern Michigan, USA.  Was instructed not to call back on both calls.  Happy New Year..

Called and asked if I had dish network. Said no, I have Direct TV.  Asked if I would be interested in switching.  I said no thank you and hung up.  Called right back and said I probably wouldn't qualify anyway.    Think I might give Dish Network a call.

When they called, I asked how they got my phone number and the guy went on with his schpeel.  I asked again, then he hung up.  That was easy.

Called and asked me if I had dish network in the house. I said no and they asked why not. I hung up and they tried calling back twice.
