re-recorded message that offers credit counseling.

Got a recorded message of some guy talking about setting my credit card interest rates, or something like that. No company name was in the message. Probably a scam.

Same thing, left message, no company name.  Said they could lower rates to 1/2 %, cut payments in half.
Suspicious.

Called my cell with the same message as others mentioned. It gave the option to push one to speak with someone so I did. When I informed her I didn't have any credit cards and demanded to know how she go my cell number she hung up. Very suspicious.

They called my cell and left a message saying that "[we'd] talked on the phone earlier." It was related to credit cards and was completely bogus.

this number seems to part of some scam network calling from a michigan area code. received another similar call from 248-975-2662. when i don't pick up, they don't leave a message.

Got an unsolicited call to our business number for reducing interest rates.  Immediately hung up when I asked to have number removed.

Credit counseling telemarketer  no company name listed

I would say that if you have a resume posted on CareerBuilder or Monster or any of the like sites, chances are that's how they obtain the information.  I never, ever receive unsolicted calls and I just posted my resume last week.  Since then, I have been getting odd calls and e-mails.

Upon reaching a person I asked that my number be removed and the person answering said they don't care who I am and then hung up.

got a call from this number today. Same thing "Sorry about not getting back to you sooner about these lower interest rates , etc...." Sounded like a recording and a scam!

They called my new Google voice number and left no message. This new number has not been posted anywhere, so they have a auto dialer trying numbers.

Called but didnt leave a msg.
