I can't believe all the people on here saying 'I wish they would stop calling' or 'Boy are they annoying!' or 'I wish someone would do something about these annoying calls!' etc.etc. on and on the whining goes...

Here's a thought: DO something about it! Just go to the site, add the info and let the Government take care of these losers. They will not magically stop calling you - YOU have to actually DO something - no one is going to use fairy dust to help you with this problem or any other problems/your life.

Also got a call but when I answered, no response.  My, how some people use their so-called brains.  Why don't they learn to do something more worthwhile instead of being such idiots.

Keep getting calls on my cellphone 9999100238. After three rings they hang up. I am listed on the do not call list, and it doesn't help. If you try to call back on the number it is private and you can't get through. I sure wish they would put these people out of business.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I have not picked up as I thought 900 numbers have to do with phone pornography, or something strange anyway.  I have had some messages in a language I do not understand.  Today the caller just said hello multiple times into the answering machine.  I can't find a location for 900.  I do have friends who keep cell phone numbers with area codes from places they lived long ago, so I tried to locate the code to see whether I know anyone from the area.  Some posts on the internet say this is a fake number, no location.  Do I need to worry about this?  IE, is there anything they can do by just knowing and using my landline number?

Got a call from these window scammers. Played along for awhile, but had to get to work. I told him i knew he was a scammer and called him a dot head and t**** head. The idiot was still polite and said he was only trying to help. I told him i had to take a shower, something that he probably never does.

Had this guy call earlier today. Said he was from Windows. Whoever gets Microsoft is one above this idiot. My dad answered on speaker phone. I walked over and hung up as soon as he said he is from Windows. Reminds me of someone that sounded just like him on a bad phone line saying he is from Visa Mastercard. I told him his line connection is terrible and that they are two separate identities, and then hung up. The only place I can find close with a 9-- area code is Mexico. But they guy sound Indian. Surprised to see entries dating back to 2011 on here. Hopefully the RCMP will crack down on these jokers. Oh, they called again while we were out, and then again a few minutes ago. When we answered this time, there was only silence.

computer was hacked last night then after system cleaned up received a call from 999-910-0238 no answer when they called and then we contacted authorities and filed a report

Have received 2 calls today and 2 last night from these crooks from India. They are scammers for sure. Have gotten these calls for the last 5 years. My poor sister got taken and they messed her PC all up. She called me and I told her unplug it immediately as they had installed a key logger on it. She went through hell changing all her passwords and personal info but thankfully before they could rob her blind. This scam is getting old but if they do a thousand calls a day and hook  only a few people they hit pay dirt.

this whomever it is, called saying to turn on the computer so he can fix it..  fix what? I don't know but apparently that's his modus operandy....

Getting calls from 999-910-0238 at least 5 times a day!!  They call both our home and home office numbers.  If I don't say anything, no voice.  If I say hello, I get a middle=eastern woman or man who tells me they are Microsoft support.  I've told them "B.S." and warned them not to ever call me again.  
Nothing stops them.  
I can't block calls because "999" is not a recognized prefix.  

An guy with an indian accent called me this morning telling me he was calling from Windows and that  my computer has malware virus infecction. I knew it was something shady and hang up. He called me sceaming why I hung up  on him. I explained that I did not believed him and he yelled at me again that I was a lair and to F..U!!!!! My God!! The nerve of fome ignorant poeple!!!

Called me Memorial Day before daybreak. Second call in a week. Can't even speak understandable English, told him I didn't even HAVE a computer so he was lying. Today, I just ignored the call and will block it. Should have done it the first time.  

None left. This is a spoofed number for sure. There are no 999 area codes

I am guessing most of the posts are from the US, I am in Sydney Australia and I was stupid enough to allow him (indian accent) access to my computer. I should have smelled a rat from the get go however when I finally came to my senses I hung up and terminated the on line session. I hope I did not give him the the opportunity to do something malicious to my PC, what do these people want??? I just received the hang up call with the "good bye" message.

I got two calls from them today.  I only answered the second time to find out what they wanted so they would quit calling.  Said they were from Windows Tech Service or something like that.  Very heavy accent like Indian or Middle East.  I told them I don't have a Windows program-which is true, but this guy would not give up.  He asked if I had a Mac, I said I didn't know.  I asked  for more info that he did not have, but he did know name, address , and Phone #.  He sure likes to argue, and is quite demanding.
Don't give out any kind of info!  Scam!

In Puerto Rico to they called saying the same thing

I receive at least two calls daily from this phone number: 999-910-0238.  I answered on two separate occasions, but there was too much static on the line to hear the caller.  I just ignore the calls now.  They NEVER leave a message.

After reading through the reports from other people, I will not even bother to answer when they call.  I wish my cell phone had 'caller blocking'.

Had the same thing the a.m. in B.C. Canada.  Knew immediately he was a hacker.  Led him on until he wanted pertinent info and I told him to wait just one moment - went and got another Cell phone while he was on my speaker phone and "pretended" to call the RCMP of Canada.  Told the guy on the other line "Here - talk with the RCMP of Canada as he knows you are a computer Hacker"  Heard the guy on the line say "OH MY GOD"  click.  Too funny  Love it.  Gotta get rid of these suckers.

PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. THEY ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE PERSON WHO IS REGISTERED TO OUR HOME TEL. NUMBER.  THIS PERSON IS MY MOTHER, A SENIOR CITIZEN. I DO OWN A COMPUTER, BUT THAT PERSON CALLING DID NOT ASK TO SPEAK TO ME.  I PLAYED ALONG WITH THE IDIOT, PRETENDING TO BE MY MOTHER. I ASKED HIM WHAT HE WANTED AND WHAT COMPANY HE WAS CALLING FROM. HE SAID 'WINDOWS TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT'.  I ASKED HIM AGAIN, WHAT NAME HE WAS CALLING, HE REPEATED MY MOTHER'S NAME. I THEN TOLD HIM HE WAS A SCAMMER, AND I WOULD REPORT HIM. I TOLD HIM THE NAME HE WAS CALLING, IS MY MOTHER, A SENIOR WHO DOES NOT OWN A COMPUTER.  IF THIS IS NOT PROOF ENOUGH, THAT THESE IDIOTS ARE SCAMMING, THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.    

I get these calls also. I tell them I do not have a computer. They quit calling for a few months anyway.
Read on one site that 999 is not a real area code that carriers use it to indicate that the area code
is unavailable.  
A friend told me the guy told her to call 973-200-6677 to check on him. This number is from
New Jersey. It amazes me that these guys actually get people to fall for this scam. They can't
even speak proper English.
I am interested in finding out where these scam things originate. Got a scam email short time
ago ''supposedly '' from a bank, one I don't even deal with wanting an update on my personal
information. This email originated in Poland. So guess they could be from anywhere in the world.

i got a phone call from idian saying i was accepted for gov grant and that i had to go to one of those west or best union and put down 250 deposit and it would be refinded right there in order for me to get 8000 dollar grant but wad told not to go in store without them on the phone in order to give me instructions then month later getting calls from 999-910-0238

i keep getting these stupid calls from this number... seems like they call every 5 to 10 minutes. i refuse to answer the call. there anyway to have this number blocked?

I havnt answered them yet. But I have received 6 calls from 7am to 1pm and I was trying to sleep in lol.....pissed.
