i got about 7 messages this morning at around 6:20..all a little creepy...the number is from when you send a message to the internet. i tried both calling it and texting it back but none of it worked. Pretty crazy though..

Well, i am also a at&t customer. I got the message, 4 txts long, the song "easily". I was unsure whom it was so i txted them back and asked who they were. I recieved a txt saying "Im Nikita from Russia I randomly wrote your number".
I once again txted her back saying "please do not txt this number" and she has yet to respond. So hopefully i got rid of her.
The weird thing...it says i received the txts at 1:29 am but i had just a few hours ago checked my phone and had no txts. So that would be impossible....my friend metioned that it could be the time in russia. but the message she sent back telling her name had the correct time so i dont know...

I got this message as well, and it is pretty creepy. I'm an AT&T customer. Is it possible that some files from AT&T were leaked?
I should also mention that I got it twice.
And to the guy who thinks this is fake because of the IAC number, that's exactly why it's so weird.

I got the message too & so did my sister thiw weekend. Tried to text back, but there was no response. So it seems its from an international number, but do we know how they got our phone numbers?? Are you all AT&T customers?

Did a little research. 01179242027223
Yes, Californian2, as Ed McMahon used to say very gruffly to Johnny Carson: "You are correct, Sir!!"
It IS weird, simply because it ISN'T true!!
What you and the other folks on this post are receiving on their Caller IDs is spoofing.
011 is the IAC (International Access Code) is what we in the U.S. use when we DIAL OUT to another country. 00 is what most, but not all, of the world uses to call the U.S., or anywhere else for that matter.
011 wouldn't show up on our Caller IDs unless WE were somewhere else in the world and were receiving a call from the U.S. in this instance, period.

Got a 9 message long text from this number...actual number was 01179242027223. It was the lyrics to a bjork song titled ive seen it all. they came at the early hours this morning, march 9 2008. tried to call it back and got a minute long elevator song then a long pause where i thought i heard a quiet recorded voice twice then a real recorded female voice said something in a foreign language then in english said " your conversation will be continued..." something about staying on the line. I tried to call it back a few times and got the song then a busy signal...hmm.
