Claimed to be giving away free grant money asked for my debit card info

I recieved a call from a 18884811547 number a guy by the name of Tom Wilson stating that i owe $400 dollars for a payday loan. He also called my place of employment and told my boss that they are filing legal matters on me for the money, i have never got a payday loan in my life. So when my boss called me to tell me about the phone call i called the number and he was trying get my bank information to get the money. I hung up and call a lawyer to get there advice on what i needed to do they advised me to call my bank and let them know about what was going on. After i called my bank i called the number back and told them i talked with a lawyer he started cursing me. The next day i recieved a phone call from a 2025590667 saying that i got approved for a $7000 dollars grant money the guy name was Ryan Young. He told me to send him $270 dollars throuhg a western union call him when im outside an he would walk through the process. I asked him was this a scam and he said no this is a once in alifetime opportunity to get this money. I told him i was going to call a lawyer to see if he was who he said he was he got up set and starting cursing me. Soon as i mentioned a lawyer both number no longer works. These people steals your information of the internet then harass u too try an scam u. They need too be held responsible for doing this exspecially when the call your work place and tell your boss all these lies to try and rob u of your money.

I got a call from 469 and he told that my cell phone number is selected for Grants Money $7500. So they asked my bank info to transfer the money. I asked him from which organization he is calling , he told me some DC address. And I asked him the number to call back and gave the bank info he gave me 202 number. And his English and pronunciation is different... so I think he is calling from some other county.

Have recieved many calls from these people.........One told me I had defaulted on a internet loan I had taken out. I never applied for nor recieved a payday advancement. Then he proceeded to tell me that if I didn't pay him 169.00 dollars that I would be arrest and that they had all my information including my social sercuity number. I told him I wasn't giving out any of my information to him he became upset and started screaming at me that I would indeed be arrested by the next day. It has been a week and I have yet seen the police at my door. Then I got a call from someone saying I had applied for a auto loan and had been approved once again I did no such thing. Then he proceeded to say I had been approved for an 8000 dollar loan and all I needed to do was Western Union 250.00 dollars and they would send me the 8000 plus my 250 back. Then I recieved a phone call from 000000 and they said I had won a goverment grant for paying my bills on time and not having a criminal record. I was told to give them the number RP0144 and then told to call 202-559-0667 And speak with a Ryan Young. I then called the number in which I knew was a cell phone but I was going to play along....I called him and the first thing he asked was how I would like to recieved my money. I then stated that I had some questions for him and then asked what branch of goverment was offering the grants and if I could have that number to verify that it was on the up and up. He think got angry and told me to not call that number again and hung up.

They are trying to get me for my money, to get a $5000 loan

Yes there seems to be a small network of these crooks taking advantage of those in dire need like myself.  Advance Payday loan company has similar scam directing me to wire $199 and then $324 to ppl in Costa Rica with promise of wiring back to me the $2000 approved loan amount and the fees used to wire initial fees.  Needless to say my desperation got the best of my judgment.  Once my wire was complete, another person got on the line to tell me the system was down in DC where his 'partner' was located because of a "thunderstorm" and that the wire to me would be delayed.. that was 2 days ago and of course I am not receiving any response to my calls.  I'm sharing this because 1) I also received a call from this 202# with the same directives, so perhaps 2) these ppl are indeed working together.  I have my receipts from western union and intend to follow through bringing these scumbags down!

This 000000000 called me and then I called this number 2025590667 and told them they were scramers don't call my phone again and he reply yes we are scramers and he said f u goodbye and hung up on me

I had a similiar call from another number I put up the $210.00 and it was sent to of all places India... After that money was sent they said I needed $275.00 more, I told them I didn't have that money and they told me the $210.00 would be refunded to me within 6 hours... I called Western Unions Fraud Department gave them all the info and they stopped them from picking up the money and I got my money back.... You may want to try and call Western Unions Fraud Department....

Could you please let me know what you did to make them stop calling? Out of nowhere I started receiving these calls today threatening me and he actually cursed in a manner I rather not repeat. Than they called my place of employment 5 times telling the receptionist I am a criminal and I would be arrested that day. I'm very concerned and called the FBI. Sadly they do not seem to be on a position to assist and referred me to annother source to file the complaint.

Any information on how any of you proceeded is appreciated. I'm contemplating handing this over to a lawyer.

I recieved this call for a pay day loan.

I received a call from this number (202-559-0667). Told me that I was approved for a loan for $1500 for 10 month instalments of $169. The gentlemans name is Ryan Young. I am supposed to go to my local Western Union with my cell phone, Valid ID, and $150. I will then call Ryan and give the money to be sent to his company (USA Payday Loans), wait 5 min. and I will receive $1650 back. This is the Kicker. 5 min before he called me I received a call from (707-506-6790) Michael Carter. I looked this number up and it generated from Rio Dell, CA. He informed me that I have a lawsuit filed against me from a payday loan company and that if I did not pay him I would be arrested at my job tomorrow. He also had my social security number. So now I look up this (202) number and it brought me here. I asked this Ryan Young about the (707) number, If his company was affiliated with this company in Rio Dell, CA. He gave me the whole scam shpeal and not to get worried and that I need to "Chill". So I am going to go to Western Union with the items mentioned above, but I will be acompanied by an officer. So let's see what's really going on. Please respond with any other information I may need and that will be pertinant to the case I will be filing against both numbers.
