Just received a call from this number twice.  Both times they hung up.  Tried to call the number back and it was busy.

Its a automated Bill Collection Agency Number.

They keep calling me too, leaving a message to "Colleen Morrison" (which is not my name) and saying that they intend to collect a debt. They also said they were Century Financial Services, and to call them back at 800-648-1156. I'm 14 years old- there's no reason a financial company I've never heard of would contact me.

I have received several calls from this number and they don't leave a message. I just got this phone with this number a few weeks ago and no one has it but work.

I keep getting harrassing phone call from Century Financial Services any body kno how to stop these

Not only do they call, they mailed me a debt collection letter. I gathered the proper paperwork and mailed it off to them, requesting notification of the party to whom I supposedly owe this debt - as is offered in the original letter. I have received nothing in the mail, just more automated phone calls demanding I call them back.

I get a call about 3x per week on my cell phone from this number and no messages.

they just called me and i thought it was somebody from my school since (203) is the area code for it. but it was silent and im pretty sure i got a call from them before. i thought it was wierd cause (508) is my area code.

Just called the 800 number back.  If you ever had to do business with Yale, chanced are they kicked back some balance that your insurance did not pay.. Apparently I owe a thousand dollars to the doctors that assisted my child birth 2 years ago... not the hospital but the doctors, and my insurance didnt cover that.  You would be surprised..

THIS IS THE SECOND DAY i HAVE GOTTEN A CALL , WHEN i TRY TO CALL i GET A MEEAGE TELLING ME THEY ARE CENTURT FINANCIAL AND HOLD FOR THE NEXT REP BUT THEN THEY SAY THERE ARE NO REPS AVAILABLE AND TRY CALLING BACK.
HOW CAN i BLOCK THEM?

I got a call and they just hung up, when I call the number back it says this is Century Financial Services and please hold for a representative and then they say sorry no representatives are available and then it disconnects.

no messages, got me excited, thought it might be a job at first, must be for the people that had this number, they have been calling for a year and a half for don connely..not me, or a frank guy, not me.

Me too!  I've been getting calls from this number for over a year!  I just now got the idea to google the number and was so surprised to see everybody's getting called from this number!  How odd if they're debt collectors and they don't say anything?  I feel better knowing I'm not the only one.

They call from this number once a day every day.  Never leave a message.  I called back, blocking my number, and there was no answer.

No initial annoucement then a recording states to call 1800-648-1156. We have excellent credit and there is no reason for a debt collector to contact us.

caller hangs up.  Called my lawyer. Hope to press charges for stalking or harasment.

When I pick up they have a recorded message for me to call back. They do not give who they are so I am not about to call. I only talk to real people.

Phone rings 1-2 times, then person hangs up.  Don't know who it is, or what they want, since they never stay on the line long enough to talk to me or leave a message.  Confusing since it's a local phone number in my area.

It is Century Financial Service, another number for them is 203-508-1374, another is 203-239-3300. You can tell them not to contact you anymore, they can then simply send a bill or notify you they will sue you for the money and that's it. One company that harassed me for payment of an invalid bill, to which I did not react quickly enough in order to preserve my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, did take me to court and then did not show. Case was dismissed.

I get a call from this number once a day,  I never answer it because they will record when you do and the calls will increase.   I save the number and contact it under aaaaaaaa on my caller I.D.     Then when it rings I hit ignore and they never leave a message.
