I got a call from this number just yesterday and it was the same message saying you have a collect call from...and no name its a 2 dollar fee per minute to enter a card number press 1 now then it hung up... this did worry me I have a fiancé that lives in Alabama and im in Georgia finishing school..at first I thought it was a jail call and freaked out because of my fiancé... does anyone know who this is because for someone who's fiancé live up that way its scary to get a call like that at 2 in the morning

My son called me from this number and I don't know if he I'd ok when called the number back it's a non working number. What is going on??? My son called collect.

So I called AT&T and they were rude about it ! But they took it off my bill as

got a call from this same number....no message was left......
did not answer because its not in my contacts...and my firewall on smart phone
did not block it. i block all numbers, unless there in my contacts.

anyway...my boyfriend came home. he was trying to tell me he called....

I just found this number listed in my personal contact info in my PayPal account.  Not sure how it got there, but I've changed my password just in case...

Got 3 calls from this number.  Didn't answer the first two but did try to call it back.  Got a message saying "You have reached a non-working number".  Answered the third call and got "You have a collect call from..." but no name was stated and they just hung up.

Got 3 calls from this number early this morning at 4 am. A recorded voice came on and said it was an emergency cell phone call from __________ in Birmingham.  The part where the caller was to input his name there was garbled and I couldn't understand the name.  After that the recorded voice came back and said the charge woud be $2.92 per..............that's when I hung up.  They called right back.  I tried to make out the part where the caller put in his name, I could then tell it was intentionally garbled. I hung up, they waited a minute and called back.  I hung it up without listening.  They didn't call back.

I have been get calls from this number also, but when i answer they say i have a collect call from... and no one says their name, and hangs up. I got ten calls from them yesterday(4/8/2011) and so far one call from them this morning(4/9/2011). I dont know who it is and i have a verizon cell phone. I know it was not my boyfriend, mom, or any other family member.

No this is a problem with Verizon as well! Only happens to me and my husband and one of our friends . we all have "smartphones" my friends that do not have these phones it shows up normal?? Who knows?!?!?!

This number (205)936-7626 is being used as part of a PayPal scam. Periodically PayPal legitimately calls BUT with the correct information. This scam says to call PayPal back and the recorded message says, "the number we have in your records is (205)936-7626" and that is not the correct number. I have called PayPal about this before and they have said they did NOT try and contact me. Whoever is using this number is using it as part of a PayPal scam.

6 calls from this number in a 30 minute period. Didn't answer the first 5 times, because I didn't know the number... I'm on Verizon, so I don't know why Sprint would be calling me. Husband came home, & complained he'd called me twice & I didn't answer. So the other 4calls make no sense. When I did answer, I got nothing. When I called it back, it wasn't a working number. I don't care who this belongs to, they need to fix it.

You run your mouth about people behind their backs about anything that may stir up trouble.  You sit their and say you would say it to their face but you NEVER do.  Wherever you, Sparkman, and Dobbins are there is controversy.  It's not the people your around that's the problem, IT'S YOU!!!  You need to remove yourself from any positions of leadership and authority because the constant griping surrounding is proof that nothing good comes from following you.

i have eperienced This exact same thing...my husband was trying to call me, he was partially roaming when the calls were coming thru~& we have Sprint also...I am guessing from reading everyone elses posts putting 2 and 2 together this must be some kind of dummy number Sprint uses when any of their customers are calling from their cell phones & are roaming....To the guy who's girlfriend accused him of having 2 phones~that's both awful for you but genius thinking on her part...I'm so sorry!! But there it is....

This number just showed up on our Caller ID and when I answered it it was actually my husband, calling me from his cell phone.  It's not his cell phone # and I almost didn't answer it since I didn't know the #, but it certainly seems like the # may show up when there is some kind of a glitch in the caller ID/routing system.  Probably best not to name "troublemakers" by name as the # appears to belong to no one.

I have Verizon and the same thing happened to me Saturday. My brother-in-law called me and this number showed up. I asked him whos phone he was on and he said his. This is very weird, I was wondering is someone else was listening to my calls.

also on sprint.same thing.husband called and this # showed.do any of you have google or yahoo voice / chat.thinkin that has something to do with it.# showed as well as yahophone attached to his #.cant call either back.perhaps a hack of some sort?

I recieved a call fromt his number on my cell phone and I didnt answer it and no message was left. It was also at the time that my partner was calling me while she was roaming. We are also with Sprint and will be contacting them to solve this issue. I called the number back and it said it was a non working number so that leads me to believe that it was an issue while my partner was roaming. Thanks for posting cause now I know that we need to call and solve this issue.
