I WORK FOR CBS TELEVISION AND ALL THE LINES OUT HAVE THAT NUMBER AS A RETURN NUMBER.

I sent in a request for the David Letterman show tickets and they called back!  I got tickets!

I got a call back for tickets and the message was accidentally erased!  This number was on caller ID and it says out of service.

How can I get the phone number to call back!!!

Well this is a standard caller ID for anyone that calls from CBS.  In my case it was a CBS Radio call regarding buying air time for small business ads, etc.

I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM CBS BROADCASTING ON OCTOBER 29TH, 2009.  WHEN I ANSWERED THE GENTLEMEN ASKED IF I WAS BILL AND I REPLIED YES.  WE WERE THEN DISCONNECTED.  I THEN RECEIVED A CALL ON MY WIFE'S CELL PHONE AND THE GENTLEMEN ASKED MY WIFE IF THIS NUMBER WAS MINE, MY WIFE SAID IT WAS AND THE GENTLEMAN SAID HE WOULD CALL BACK AT MY HOME TELEPHONE NUMBER.  I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK.  I RETURNED THE PHONE CALL AT NUMBER 212-975-0000 AND IT WAS NOT A VALID PHONE NUMBER.  THE PHONE NUMBER SHOWS UP ON MY CALLER ID FROM CBS BROADCASTING.  THE REASON I'M SENDING AN E-MAIL IS BECAUSE I SUBMITTED AN E-MAIL FOR THE DAVID LETTERMAN SHOW, AND I WAS THING POSSIBLY THERE WAS A CONNECTION WITH THE PHONE CALL.  PLEASE CALL ME AT 201-562-4677.

Left a message on my cell. It was one of David Letterman's assistants responding to my on line request for tickets. I called back, answered the trivia question, and got tickets. Thanks!

When did you receive a call, I requested tickets about 3 months ago for May and havn't received a call yet.

I got a call from this number, it was from the Letterman show ticket request I had sent in.

I got a call from this number.  They asked to speak to me by name, I said "this is he."  They said thanks and hung up.  Kind of scared me, seeing as how i have never asked CBS or Letterman for tickets.  Can someone confirm this is in fact what it is?

FML! I thought it was someone sellin me crap and i said it was the wrong #!!!! NO!!!!

A 6:09 a.m. call regarding incomplete fax information for an order of a 60 Minutes episode came from this number. I didn't order a dvd. It's too early to wake my husband to determine if he sent the fax.
Even for a legitimate call 6:09 a.m. is too early.

These people have called me two times and asked for the same person. The person they asked for was Stacey How. The first time they called they said that the person they were looking for was a patient of Dr. Conrad Murray. That is when I said "isn't that the Dr. in the Michael Jackson investigation? She said yes it is. That was all.

i got a call from this # on my cell phone.. i rejected it because i didn't know the number.  I have read that it's CBS calling.. but why?  I didn't order tickets for anything.

I did call the Number back after i found out that it's CBS, but no one picked up

Why call so early?!

You received a call. Big deal. Why should we care? The purpose here is to help one another figure out who's calling. Some of us are filing lawsuits and collecting thousands of dollars from illegal telemarketers. When I find useful information, I try to post it. When I have nothing useful, I don't expect other people to waste their time reading my whining.

I was THRILLED to get this call!!! I missed it on my cell phone, and they called the home number as I was doing this search. We're going to New York a week from today, and hoped for tickets to Late Night with David Letterman. This was "the call." I was given phone number and name to call, I called. Answered a trivia question, and now we've got tickets. Free. Later in the evening, we'll go hear Natalie Dessay sing "La Fille du regement" (spelling may be wrong; it's "The Daughter of the Regiment") at the Metropolitan Opera. Our plane tickets from Houston cost less than the opera tickets. This phone number produced FREE tickets to a far more exclusive show!!

I received a call, didn't answer the cell phone and have no voicemail set up.  Does anyone have a number that was left to call back and confirm request for tickets?

It was from CBS - we had put in Letterman ticket request and actually had the chance to call back and get them but we had made other plans.
