I received several calls today from 213-260-9143 from a "non English" speaking male individual stating he was from the Law offices of David Cooper and it was important to call them back - at my work number none the less - total against company policy.  When I got home from work there was a "non English" woman's voice with same message to contact them today.  So I called this number and recvd a mailbox that was full stating it was the Federal Trade Commissions number?? really?? The second attempt to call them back moments later I was able to speak to a different "non-English" speaking person asking me what number I called from.  when i gave him my number he verified he was trying to reach me to notify me that he had an affidavit to have me arrested at my work place tomorrow due to an on-line cash loan I recvd and never paid back from an affiliate of usacashadvance?? I told him that he must be mistaken that I did not recv a cash advance from this company and he requested my attorneys name.  I told him that I would like him to mail me the information/documents he has and I would be happy to review them to verify my signature and receipt of this loan because he has the wrong person.  He stated that he has the info I need and I could expect to be arrested tomorrow for nonpayment and he hung up.  Several phone calls back to this number lead to continuous hang ups except for one "English" speaking male that answered with the statement" what do you want and I stated that I was trying to get some info regarding the phone calls I kept getting today.  He stated he was David Cooper (funny how the first few individuals were David Cooper as well) and he hung up when I tried to speak to him.  I went to search this number on the web and found this site and felt somewhat relieved when I read that I am not the only one that had this terrible experience and glad to know that it is a telemarketer and I will not be arrested at work tomorrow hahahaha.  I am reporting this number to do not call list as well.

I got a call today from a Paul White, 214 446 5372,who was very rude to my coworker when she answered the phone. I then called him back and i was transfered to a Jack Wilson( no he did not sound like a Jack Wilson), who would not give me any information on who was sueing me but that i needed to send him a letter within the next hour or he was going to prosecute me. He also wanted my debit card and 3 digits on the back of my card. That is when i really started to question everything.  I hope this does not take me a year to resolve. If anyone has any advice on how to get them to stop calling i would love to hear any advice.

This is a follow up to my prevous message. I called the 214-446-5372 back and spoke with beleive it or not ANTHONY HOPKINS. I told him that I wished to speak to a supervisor and was transfered to ANTHONY HOPKINS. I informed him that I was a retired Police Officer (Which I really am) and explained that if anyone from his company or anyone from the other numbers they used called again I would seek legal action against him and ALL companies they listed in their phone call. I am going to report this company to the State Attorneys office and the better business bureau. I am also going to contact Magic Jack ( which is where that are getting there phones from) and file a compant with them. I suggest that EVERYONE do the same as I am. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LINE OF NONSENSE. They are not Laywers and do not work for a law firm. I also found out listeneing to the phone conversation that one of the mens real name is KAHLIL. I too received a call from Frank Jefferson Law Firm (214)446-5372) today at aprox. 405pm. Thge first nitwit I spoke with told my I owed $7,000.00 for Cash Corp. The first nitwit Mark Brown told me he was an attorney with this firm and that a law suite had been filed against me and that BETTER settle NOw or he was going to proceed wioth the lawsuit. I advsied him that I never told any loans out at that they had made a mistake. He told me he did not make a mistake and that he had a 70 pagg document from his client and that I either paid or he would see me in court. I asked again what the company was that is suing me and told me that It was none of my business. I told him that someone had commited fraud against my name and that he should check into this further. He told me that I was a fraudster and he would see me in court. He would not let me talk to a supervisor or give any further information and that he would be suing me. THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDS. I even called all the numbers listed in this blog and others like it and they all have the same names. Some of the number are no longer in service. SO BEWARE.... THETY ARE ALL FAKES.

I got a call regarding a payday loan that was late and needed to be paid from Frank Jefferson Law in Dallas, Texas from this number: 214 446-5372. The fake name was Mark Brown and said he represented Cash Corporation. He had a very strong accent, spoke very poor english and seemed suspicious immediately.

IF this has happened to you and you are worried whether or not this is real Do The Following:
Get as much info from them as possible i.e.
-Full name of law firm
-Phone number
-Full address
-Get the lawyers Bar Registration Number
-Get the state he or she got the Bar
-loan amount
-loan date (they probably wont give it to you)

Tell them you don't believe this is real and that you will check with the bar association records and contact the state attorneys office to see if they are fraudulent. After I said that they didn't know what to say so I hung up. A day later I called them back and the number didn't work anymore. IF you want you can contact both the bar associations from the state they got their bar and contact the state attorney's office FYI. However I am guessing since this is fake they are calling internationally and making their number look like it is from the US.

Side Note.....Don't give out information to random sites online (especially your SS#) - that is how they got your information. IF you need a payday loan don't get one online. Get one from a physical place. Lastly if you want you can go to Annualcreditreport.com or a credit reporting company to make sure this hasn't affected your credit. (I hope people don't think I work for a credit reporting company now.......Damn Frauders <== thats not a word. lol) But this something you should do only if you want but definitely check your bank accounts and make sure nothing is missing or messed up.

I also have been receiving calls from "Frank Jefferson Law Firm" and they also have a very heavy accent. The number that I was given to call back was 1-214-989-6844 to a Paul White. I called him back once and he also had all of my personal information and he stated that I was committing a federal crime cuz I would not pay back an online loan I supposedly defaulted on. I wish I would never have tried to do an online cuz I have been getting these calls for the past year and it always has been from different phone numbers but the people always have heavy accents. I honestly do not know how to get rid of them. When I have talked to them I have told them that I have contacted the police and that I know that it is fraud but they do not seem to care as they continually call me at work. Now I have just been ignoring the calls and not calling them back. This Paul White from "Frank Jefferson Law Firm" calls me every week.

They left a voice-mail, VERY heavy middle eastern accent! Says that if I don't pay him "may God help you" creeeepy! I tried to call back on private number...and he will not answer. I have read several posts about this number and they seem very threatening! GIVE THEM NOTHING! FRAUD ALERT

Today I recieved a call from "Frank Jefferson Law Firm", and just like all the rest they have stated they have a very heavy accent.  I told them I had never taken an Payday Loan from "Cashnet, USA", they of course had my name, address and phone number but when asked for the SSN they had I was told they couldn't give out personal information...  Really...  It's mine and you can't give it to me??  He kept interrupting me while I was trying to talk so I just told him to "Shut Up"..  I wasn't coming to "Court" as he stated I had to, he then proceeded to tell me he was going to send the cops to pick me up...  Hmmm.. I told him OK..  You obviously have my address so I shouldn't be hard to find..  After that he hung up...  Guess he didn't feel like talking anymore..  The number that I got the call from was out of Georgia (770) 504-5785.  Best of luck to them cause they ain't crap from me..

At around 8:30 this morning there came a call for an employee through the main number, which I answered. I would have gladly delivered a message, but the gentleman barely spoke English and insisted that he was a lawyer named Austin White. He was clearly no Austin White, or any such American name, and the person's name that he gave to me was so difficult for him to pronounce, even though it was a very simple, American name, I knew he was not an Austin White. After telling him that I would take his name and number and, if we had such a person, I would have this person give him a call, he gave me a number: 770-504-5785 (GA#). He then told me that I had a very sweet sounding voice. Creepy. What is REALLY going on here? The call came from 213-260-9139 (CA#). So, very creepy. Obviously someone fishing for information. Who IS this creeper?

I received a call from the number 213-260-9139 claiming to be a Robert Brown I missed the call but when I called the number back a Mr.White answered the phone he never told me to hold on to go get the Robert Brown guy but went on to speak to me like he knew exactly what this was about he had a heavy accent you could barely understand him and he actually had an old address of mine how is that? he told me he was calling to solve a matter regarding a loan that I never even applied for in order to stop the process of taking me to the court of sueing me he said information regarding a company wanting to sue me was in my spam email address.... Legal matters don't get handled like this so please don't give these people any information at all if it doesn't sound right than it's not right.

Today, I recieved a call from 213-260-9139 from a male who had a heavy accent and said that his name Mr. White. He said that a law suit had been filed against my name and my social security number. I told him that no real attorney or law firm would contact a person in this manner regarding a law suit. I told them that they should never call my number again and I repeated that request and hung up.

This was extremely weird. A man with a middle eastern accent called several times saying that "I need to pay him bc if I don't pay him, MAY GOD be with me"?
Is this some sick threat? He will not answer private numbers and is VERY forcefully requesting info! If u get a call from this number DO NOT give them anything!!

213-260-9139 . Identified themselves as Obrian law firm. I spoke with an individual named Ricki Jones. The guy had a very heavy accent. Asked if I'm aware that my SSN is being sued. Said that I had applied on line for a $300 Loan. Demanded that I should make payment arrangements. When I said that I'm not paying for something that I did not request or purchase he threatened me with Court and the Police at my door.After I told him to provide me with the Legal Documents and all proof and supporting Documents, I told him that this conversation was over and I hung up the phone.
I have no Idea what this is all about or who this person is.
