very strange people they have all your info is this a scam or what

Got the same call.  Guy with a very strong indian or southeast asian accent called me three times a couple of months ago and told me that I'm going to be in trouble if I don't call back.  Told me that I was going to have charges pressed against me for not paying back a payday loan.  Told me to call an unlisted number where someone hung up on me.  I had his number blocked then he called me again with a different number saying the same thing.  Someone told me that they had them tracked and they ended being in Texas with a number that is not a business but a residence.  They are hackers who have stolen people's identity and are trying to get money from them.  They've used names like Thomas, Victor Johnson, Shawn Turner, and Allan Smith, but they are clearly asian or acting like they are asian with that stupid accent.  They say they are from APS, affidavit processing something rather.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!  DO NOT VERIFY ANY INFORMATION!  If they say your social security number over the phone or in a message, they are breaking a privacy law which immediately proves they are not who they say they are.  Have your conversations recorded and save your messages for the police or FBI.  They WILL be caught if they continue this practice with so many different people.  The authorities have very simple ways of tracking idiots who do this.

I just got the same exact call - had to change all bank documents, pay for Identity theft.

Says they are a payday company named instant cash.Gives you another number 602-926-1721 for their restitution department and they tell you you owe money and are being sued and need to appear in court.The scary thing is they have all your information.

It's a bill collector. A rude and very funny sounding bill collector.
